What words have stayed with you because they brought you comfort?
Some words don't fade. A sentence, a piece of advice, or a few simple words can stay with us because they made us feel safe, understood or supported when it mattered most.
I'd love to hear the words that meant something to you<3

@BlueDarkAurora
No one thinks about you as much as you think they do. Stop worrying about people's opinions.

someone here on 7 Cups recently said, "I'll believe in you until you believe in yourself," and although it was said in conversation about mentoring, it's resonating with me still and I think it's a beautiful sentiment.
@Heather225
Awwww, so nicely said
Must be really" nice to have other people said those words to you.
“You are special. Don’t let anyone ever make you think you are not special” meant alot at the time it was said. Means nothing when the person who said it vanished. It still resonates as it touched my soul. I cried when it was said to me. It was deep. My heart sank in 😔
@LadyInSilence I can understand. I like to think that the moment stays alive in our heart, even if the circumstances have changed. And it might take some time but maybe someday we can remember those words and just feel the love and comfort they brought to us<3
You're still special<3
I know I am still special 🤭. Probably the words kicked in when I needed to hear them the most. The words certainly do still make me feel happy though.
Thank you for your kind words of compassion 😘
@LadyInSilence
No arguements from me, I might get stuck for the words at times but I agree with you, you are special.
Thank you. I really appreciate it coming from you ð¥°

So yesterday I was talking to a listener and then went on to write in page what I learnt in the conversation, I mistakenly wrote " it is alright, not everything is in your control, so let it be accept it and relax " ohh! And one more line that one of my friend when we first learnt about each other said " you can relax, it's not your fault" Hearing it up it's not my fault really felt like a huge burden go down.
@scarletBalsam388 That's wonderful, it's like your heart told you what you needed to here<3

@BlueDarkAurora
I know right !!!☺️☺️☺️

Thinking back. My mother once said this to me. I guess it stuck because I am in my 70s, and still remember it, and still believe it.
You’re smart and resourceful enough to make your life into whatever you want it to be. But remember this, once you’re an adult, you are exactly the person you choose to be. At that point, you can’t place who you are on anyone else.
@BlueDarkAurora
"I'm sorry" (they were helping me with my mental health and when I told them they said that, which really helps me even tho it seems small), and then they helped me get through the suffering.
@BlueDarkAurora The words that have stayed with me came from my best friend 💗
She told me I'm a gift from God for her, and that.. she always feels lucky to have me in her life 🥹 She said it in a moment when I was comforting her, but those words.. comforted me later in life, and still do ❤️🩹 Whenever I feel down, or worthless, or like I'm not enough.. these words help me see myself through her eyes. She reminds me of the goodness.. in me, even when I can't myself find it, at times.
