When I take chats on my listener account, I always try to help the member see their options, which can lead to positive outcomes. I also always ask them before I leave, if they're feeling any better after the chat and if they aren't, then I stay and try to figure out how we can acheive that goal. So I strive for positive outcomes when chatting with others. It doesn't always happen, but I will always try to do that.

Tell someone they are doing a great job. Tell someone the look great. Tell a stranger you love their bag, or nail polish, or the book they are reading. Or just smile as someone who looks like they need a smile 😃
