building a little book of feel-good quotes🌸💌
hey everyone!!
i’m putting together a small book of quotes that lift you up, make you feel hopeful, or just bring a little light into your day 🌸.
the idea is simple: share any quotes that resonate with you, whether you wrote them yourself or they’re from somewhere else (if you remember who said them, please include that too 💌)!
i’ll start with one that really speaks to me:
"you can still make a beautiful life for yourself even if you feel like you've lost many years to grief or darkness or wounds that wouldn't close."
it feels like a gentle reminder that no matter what you’ve been through, it’s never too late to create something meaningful or find joy again

i got a few quotes, the first one is from the holy bible: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Mathew 11:28)
the second is from my croatian book (literally, im not kidding): "every ending is a new begining" (literally had to write an essay on that topic loll)
the third is from a song, cant remember the name: "keep on carry on, when it seems like the end, when you feel ruined"
the fourth would be from one of my friends: "love always finds a way"
and the fifth from me: "we cant judge other peoples problems, when we have problems of our own. all of us need an equal amount of love and support to overcome our problems. we can never say my problems are harder than yours, nor we can ever judge others for having easier problems, yet still crying"
(you pretty much can guess correctly when i came up with the 5th one, i came up with that when only you supported me :3)

fifth one hit me the most, that idea that everyone’s pain deserves compassion, no matter how big or small, really says a lot about you.

Meaning don't chase people, work on yourself until the right people come to you, and if they don't then you will still have yourself. It's also the same for a dream, you have to work for it not chase it.🦋
