Sessions Host Buddy !!
Hello Everyone! I hope and wish all of us are doing well and are completely safe!
As we all know, new hosts are not much experienced with hosting, and although it is fun, enjoyment, pleasure, and passion being a host, they could get many questions and that's all well. Listeners and members may encounter numerous issues and problems while being so new host and it very obvious to have questions and ask for tips regarding their new role of hosting. We understand that as that's truly valid!
So, we are Rolling Out a New Role of Sessions Host Buddy !! In this, Sessions Host Buddy will be an experienced Listener who will be helping out New hosts ( they could be a listener or member ) and providing tips to host greatly. They will be helping out the hosts with their questions. New hosts could reach to their assigned Sessions Host Buddy to ask any question or query if they would like to ask. Sessions Host Buddy could also co-host the first 1-2 sessions with the new host to let them gain experience and become confident. This will be so helpful to both of the persons and I hope this will give a great effect.
Requirements to be a Sessions Host Buddy
Should be an Officially Badged Host.
Have been a listener/member for 8 weeks or more.
Should be leading discussions for 4 weeks or more.
Capable and willing to answer any question or queries related to Sharing Circles and Small Steps towards Healthy Habits.
Should be able to reply/respond to the new hosts within 48 hours or 2 days.
Should be able to tell the new hosts how could they improve and offer better tips.
Should have love and passion towards hosting these sessions.
Role of a Sessions Host Buddy
Help out new hosts with the questions and queries related to Sharing Circles & Small Steps towards Healthy Habits.
Offer good tips regarding hosting the sessions.
If you meet all the above-written requirements, would like to become a Sessions Host Buddy and help others, please reply to this post or post to this thread to let us know you are interested.
When we will be onboarding new hosts, we will let you know about that new host and we will pair you with them so they could reach you anytime they want to ask and clear the questions.

Hello Kayla ! I know you are a very experienced host and you have experiences of so many things. You will be very fine and amazing to tell listeners tips and answer their questions however just for now, Only Listeners are allowed to be in this role. I think we could give members also as some are so much experienced so I am talking about this to our Community Managers / Admins, will let you know about the future update if they allow and say yes. We have discussed now and came to the solution that members also can be a Sessions Host Buddy as here we are not seeing a listener or a member, here we are seeing experienced hosts.
