🍂 This past week went by quick, and was very motivating. I was completely back on track with everything. And got in and met all goals in Activity/workouts, Steps, Water, (and for the most part Sleep). I've gotten back on track with my daily vitamins, and increasing veggies and fruits more-so than I was, and notice the increase in energy this past week.

🌻 The weather started off pretty warm here this week, but as of tomorrow will now become more (seasonable). And seems like Fall will officially be here~ I've been able to increase activity this past week with picking up the 3rd extra AQUA Zumba class. Managed to get in a few small outdoor walks, but the weather will start to determine the amount & time Its able to happen and for how long going forwards until spring kicks back in. And we celebrated my Hubby who's a NAVY VET, with Veterans Day.

🍁 Nothing major going on this weekend, the weather is very dreary here today and its really been a lazy-feeling kinda day. I managed to get in a 30 minute workout. And a few things done around the house. Over the next week, I will start to look at getting ready to decorate for the Holidays....But spend the rest of this day with Self-care time.

How Has your week been?

fair to middlin'

wait wat does that even mean

🌾 We are almost "Half"-way through the Month already!... How have you been doing with your November goals so far?...What is something that you worked on for yourself this week?

Worked on decluttering - donated three bags of items to charity and purchased three new items from the Charity to celebrate and as a reward.

Also worked on a food baby that refused to birth itself so now am rethinking everything because that was the closest I've been to ***.

Speaking of *** I never realized how terrible ear infections were! Well now I do. Ear drops are also horrible. And walk-in clinics.

🍂 What is something that you did that made you feel "Proud" this week?... Or something that brought you "Joy"?

Passing that damn food baby made me pretty proud - as did braving a snow storm to get ear drops for my ear infection.

Going to the charity today and finding a nice coat to replace mine that was on it's last legs, and a comfy pair of pajamas and pillow.

The pillow holds devices and stores snacks so I'm honoring my inner child and having a little movie night in my new jamas.

🍁 JUST FOR FUN: ...This time of year can be a little less motivating... WHAT is something that keeps you motivated during the holiday season?

Something that keeps me motivated is practicing day-dreaming and using my imagination, gratitude and self care.

🌾What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" this week?... How were you able to work through your challenges?!

Highlights were getting a raspberry mocha and a macaron this morning, finding the perfect every day winter coat, reading and writing.

Struggles were ear infection, taking the train to constipation station and just being alive in general and recovering from me.

🍂 What would "YOU" Like to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hearfrom YOU!

I would like to talk about the perils of hemmroids and also HOW THE HECK DO YOU SPELL THAT

anyway

@Dallady

Hey there...

Thats great that your week was fair-ish and that you worked on some "decluttering". I know when we declutter it totally helps and benefits our overall wellbeing! And how nice of you to donate to charity....(and always nice to reward ourselves as well).

Thats also great that you were able to find something to be "Proud" in this past week.... and hopefully the ear drops did the trick.

Hopefully you also found yourself a nice coat to replace the one that no longer worked for you. Those are certainly important to have this time of year. And having some Comfy pjs and pillow are the icing on the cake.~

How lovely that you are finding motivation through "day-dreaming". And that you are benefiting from it with gratitude and self-care. Keep up the great work!

Despite the "struggles" you had in the week, its great that you were able to see the "highlights" through all the little things that you enjoyed (raspberry mocha, new winter coat, and reading and writing)..~

Thanks for checking in this week and sharing with us, and keeping us up to date on how things are continuing to go for you.

@PoliteOcean

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. 😊

Yes I think i'm glad to be able to see the highlights too!

I mean it's taken me about two decades and counting to be able to do so.

I used to not be able to see any highlights and my life was dominated by struggles.

Guess that's why consistency and practice is so important...making an effort matters.

hi, Ocean,

1. How Has your week been? Hurricane Nicole came straight at the back of my apartment and the edge of the river was no longer in its banks. The edge of the river was in my back yard.

🌾 We are almost "Half"-way through the Month already!... How have you been doing with your November goals so far?...What is something that you worked on for yourself this week? I haven't been working on my goals. I've just been looking for a job. I was offered two jobs this past week and accepted one. It isn't the greatest. It is at a school and my job goes away when the kids are not in school. So, I won't have a job and won't be paid June through august. I'll have to find a part time job for those months.

🍂 What is something that you did that made you feel "Proud" this week?... Or something that brought you "Joy"? I cleaned my apartment for about 5 hours today because of the hurricane. It blew all kinds of dirt and debris into my apartment and if I walked outside, I tracked it in. It feels nice to live in a clean place again.

🍁 JUST FOR FUN: ...This time of year can be a little less motivating... WHAT is something that keeps you motivated during the holiday season? Uhhhh, nothing that I can think of.

🌾What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" this week?... How were you able to work through your challenges?! Hurricane Nicole. I packed emergency bags in case I had to evacuate and put the bags I could live without in my car. I was prepared for me and my cat, Chloe.

@purpleTree4652

Hey there Tree... We had some remnants of "Nicole" here too. Hopefully everything there where you are is now safe!,... (And a bonus for you that despite the chaos it caused on the inside of your apt. with "debris"), its great that you were able to get it all cleaned up and have all that clutter gone! I know having a "clean space" is definitely great for our mental wellbeing!

I think its great that you've been offered "two" jobs! That is awesome for you. And "looking" for a job, is absolutely considered a goal when you are trying to do better for yourself! Its good that you are working, even if it isn't your dream job. I worked at a School also. I was a school nurse for awhile. Only we got paid "year round" (even while out of school). I know some school districts don't do that though. So I get how that might be a little frustrating for you to look ahead at. However, it at least gives you lots of time to look for something else for that timeframe in the meantime. And I know the schools usually have some great benefits as well. Hopefully that is the case for you.

Please keep us updated on how your new job continues to go for you & how its working out.... What exactly will you be doing at your new job?... We appreciate you checking in this week and continuing to let us know how you are doing and sharing your week with us!

@PoliteOcean

Hi, Ocean,

I'm going to be a lunch lady. :) I'll be an assistant in the cafeteria, working part-time. And it has full benefits. That is the awesome part. If I am accepted into school, this job will be helpful in that respect. The not having a job in the summer part sucks since I support myself. I really don't know how I am going to handle that. I can't afford not to work. I want to go to school in the summer too, so I won't be able to work full time. Ugh. I can't stand uncertain futures. It really makes my PTSD flare up.

@PoliteOcean Here’s how the past week went. Life is wonderful without Dennis. He’s been gone for 5 weeks. Alan smokes and stinks like cigarettes. I was consistent with my devotional time. I studied art history 5 times, read my poetry book 6 times, and studied philosophy of art twice. My new philosophy of art book arrived. It looks very good but it’s pretty small for the amount of money I spent on it. Tunde and I finally connected. I asked him why he didn’t show up on Friday and he said something about the library being closed for Veterans Day. He said something else but the audio on my Obama phone is really poor, so I didn’t bother to pursue it. I’ll just chalk it up to a misunderstanding. Sunday I went for a walk through my neighborhood. Wednesday I went for a walk. I tried going for a walk on Saturday but somebody was playing loud music so I skipped it. Monday my new batch of supplements arrived. One of my favorite anchors on the news is changing their assignment. It’s really disappointing. I purchased an external hard drive to use as a back up for my laptop. I have a lot of art history notes on my laptop. Thursday I had two women try to scam me on social media. I never got a refund from the art history book I returned two months ago. I contacted the vendor multiple times and they keep giving me the brush off. I’m going to file a complaint either with the Federal Trade Commission or my credit card company.

@Regmo

Hey Regmo... Thats good for you that you are continuing to stay consistent with your devotional time, art studies, poetry readings & your walks!....Its a good thing to stay consistent and keep some type of schedule for yourself from day to day. Its nice that you were able to get a new book. Its always nice to treat ourselves with something we enjoy. I'm glad that the "Mystery" surrounding Tundes whereabouts were solved. Maybe he thought that you didn't need him since the Library was closed that day?? Seems like that might be what he was trying to say based on what you stated of his comment to you? But I can understand you not wanting to pursue it especially if you didn't feel it was important enough to do so. At least nothing happened to him. So thats a good thing. I think that is so crazy that you haven't gotten a refund from your return. Yes by all means if you paid by 'credit' card, then contact them immediately. Especially if you aren't getting any results with the vendor. Credit cards are much easier to resolve issues like that with. And report the company or file a complaint as you stated. I absolutely agree..... I do remember you mentioning women trying to scam you on social media. What exactly is the story behind that? Perhaps it could also help others who read this? And to help others be on alert. Thanks for checking in this week and keeping us up to date. And for sharing your week with us.
