**This past week was pretty decent... I was finally able to get back into some type of routine for myself since I'm feeling better... I had a few appointments, and was able to get back to some Zumba classes this past week and increase my activity again...(I haven't started back to teaching my own classes yet..., but started slowly by attending others this past week).... I've started a little healthy cleanse. (Nothing drastic, no pills or meds or anything like that..)... So far its gone well. Its supposed to help you "feel" full, get rid of toxins, and help you to not crave things...all while consuming healthy foods. No processed foods, or salts/sugars etc...Its helping me to get my water increased again as well.. Will see how it goes.~

**I managed to make it to a few Zumba classes this week now that I was starting to feel better.... I have not been back to teaching my own classes just yet. But hoping to start back slowly on Monday by getting back to teaching my Seniors Zumba Gold class.~ And then the week after that, move back into my regular classes.... I am ready to get back to doing my workouts and some walking again. The weather has been so crazy. When its "'too" cold theres Sunshine, but when we finally warm up it Rains!? angry... hopefully I will be able to squeeze some walk-time in with my mom next week!?.....

**I'm excited this weekend for the "Time-Change".. as tonight we set the clocks ahead.. and tomorrow it will finally be LIGHT again longer! So I'm happy about longer days.... I look forward to the approaching warmer weather to get back out to doing more stuff again and being more active in various ways. Warmer weather is so good for my spirits and over-all well-being.. Lots of Festivals are Fast approaching as they start to do this time of year... And I'm looking forward to hopefully more Travel this year to some of our favorite spots as the warmer weather approaches.~

**Today is "Free" Day, I Have a few minor things to do around the house, and a few minor errands to take care of. But mainly continued "Self-Care" and anything that feels good today overall~

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND~ yes

The weather is such a finnicky thing ! Its been raining so much where I am. Entire towns were flooded last week :(
But Ive been trying to get outside for walks, and just being as rain proof as possible. I find that it instantly boosts my mood and the fresh air is so good. Even tho its cold and rainy.

I hope you continue to feel better and can get back to doing what you love!

Congrats on making it out to some classes :) thats very courageous

best wishes

I am so glad to hear that you are getting out and about and enjoying the weather (even if its chilly or raining).. I don't mind the rain so much if its not coming down too hard and the temp outside isn't too cold! lol.... I'm glad that you find it to be a mood-booster for you!

Thank you so very much as well for the Kind words of support. I really appreciate it, Thats really sweet of you.

The last week has been good but stressful.

I have passed my theory test for driving, got AL1 and AL3 and my peer support badge so I'm feeling fairly accomplished.

I live on a very tight budget so it is fairly hard to be healthy but I do try make food rather than get takeout.

This weekend I'm just planning on doing AL2 and relaxing.

I've been battling to sleep so I'm hoping that will get better in time.

Hey there!

Sounds like that while you had some stressors in the way, that overall things are going well for you?!

Congrats on passing your drivers theory and all of your new badges! Great job!

Good for you for being able to find and make time for yourself to relax and take some time for selfcare.. I do hope that you are able to work on getting better sleep. I feel the same way. And know how important it is to get enough each night. Good luck to you on that as well continuing to do a great job on making smarter choices so that you dont' have to get "take-out" and opt for unhealthy options. Every little small choice adds up and counts!... So keep up the great work!

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going for you!

Hey there!

Good for you for putting yourself out there and sticking up for someone that needed it. As long as your not placing yourself in any immediate harm or danger. Im' sure your friend was truly grateful!

I love your plans that you are working towards for trying to lead a healthier lifestyle for yourself.... eating healthier foods, and staying hydrated are truly great starts! Small steps towards bigger changes!..... And continued best wishes towards meeting that goal of affording that gym membership... I'm sure it will be a great reward for you body, mind and spirit!

Sorry to hear about the "struggles" that you incurred, but I'm glad that you were able to make it though them... Once you are able to reach your goal of a gym membership, being able to go there and "Workout" all those frustations and mood changes should be able to help you greatly!

Thanks so much for checking in and letting us know how things are going.. Continued to keep us up to date with your goals!

@PoliteOcean: Sunday I felt really bad, and I thought I might have to go to urgent care on Monday. I called urgent care and they said there is a two hour wait. If could tolerate a 2 hour wait, I wouldn't need urgent care. I decided to take a large dose of OTC medication and that did the trick. Three weeks ago I started chatting with this woman from Costa Rica. We just hit it off. Well, she said she was going to Siena for two weeks. She asked me to buy her a sim card and I said no. I asked her to ask a stranger to take a photo of her in Siena and send it to me. She got all upset about it. She said I ought to be ashamed of myself and I'm a disgracful human being. I immediately blocked her. My California ID arrived today (Saturday). It is now official that I'm an official person. One cool thing I did this week is to make fennel soup. I've only worked with fennel a few times before. The broth tasted absolutly spectacular. I got the Collaborator Badge for getting 100 forum upvotes.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo!... So sorry to hear that you wound up in Urgent Care... BUT I'm glad that the OTC medication was able to help you with your problem and that you didn't have to go and wait around for along time to be seen!

Sorry to hear that things didn't go well between you and the female that you were talking to... I was never one for talking or dating anyone that I couldn't see in person. I get skeptical of things like that since you never know who you are talking to... I'm just not that trusting of a person when I can't see their face. Sounds like you did the right thing though.

I'm so glad to hear that you got your I.D! Thats great for you! Yay!....... Congrats!

How nice that you were able to make Fennel soup! I've never had it or tried it. But I hear it can be pretty good. Sounds like you must be a reallly good cook since you like to make and experiement with cooking....

Also CONGRATS to you on your New Badge! How awesome for you! Great job! Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you!

Another busy week but pretty much staying on track. Spring arrives very soon and the longer days definitely can lift your spirits after winter. Today was spent outside in sunny weather, getting ready for Spring. Temperatures in the 45F range may seem cool for some, but for me it is warm weather this time of year. I really enjoy the change of seasons and going into Spring is the best time of year. I have been limiting refined sugars for a long time and it can really help with your health. Most of my diet is fruit and vegetable based, except around the holidays when I seem to struggle stay on track. I am happy that I stayed mostly on track this winter with healthy eating. Kept weight gain to 2-3 pounds. Not always easy, but did work on it. Keep up your good work on eating healthy and getting back into your routines. Enjoy your weekend.smiley

Hey there Sail! (Even though I read through everyone's posts days ago, I'm finally getting around to be able to respond now that I have a chance to sit and do so! lol)

Sounds like you are really continuing to do well for yourself and keeping things 'in -check"!... Thats great... I feel like I "back-slided" some while I had to take off those 2 weeks from working out... felt like it put me in a little rut with staying on track, so not quite sure what the scale says at this point. I've been trying to avoid it for the moment and give my body a chance to get back on track.... ...... So I think its really great that you are managing to remain in a good "Range" for yourself. What I don't like (for myself anyway) is going back and forth with the same few numbers lol.... Its like I just want the to be "gone" already lol....

I'm glad that you are continuing to enjoy the weather (and the seasons).. It will be surely nice when it warms up even more with the Spring weather ahead! I know you are as excited as I am since I know we both love the warm weather , the beaches, and the fact that it keeps our moods and spirits in check!...

Thanks so much for checking in and letting us know how things are continuing to go for you!

I like the healthy food I've been eating lately, but I can't take the credit. One of my hosts is trying to go for Bariatric surgery so they have a strict and healthy diet to follow, and my other host prepares much of the food. I felt proud this week when I realized that my face-to-face therapist was telling me that she was resigning and I'd already started Online Therapy just in case things went sideways there, since she'd been sick the week or two before. Peanut stirfry using the P2B powder, but like I said I can't take credit for that. Maybe if I quit getting 2nds or 3rds portion-wise. But I lost another 2 pounds and am at 270.6 lbs. Another pound or so and I'll be under 270! Whee!

I don't really have anything I'm looking forward to this month. Maybe getting the coats that I bought. I'm looking forward to April when my birthday is. And finding out what is in the last two boxes my ex sent over.

My struggle this week is wanting to sleep a lot, but BOTH therapist thought maybe I need it after everything that's happened, so I'm trying to relax and just go with the flow when I'm really tired.

Church this weekend. That's about it. Missed Ash Wednesday this week, so its Lent. I'm tying to give away at least 40 things out of what my ex sent over. One for each day of lent.

EATING DISORDERS TW

Still eating but I wouldn't want to. Dangerously low mood and I can't stop staring thin girls, or boys. I get triggered for EDs for just about anything and, when I get triggered, the emotion flow is overwhelming and I start to dissociate I guess. When I am that emotional I feel really confused and sometimes I miss entire pieces of my day: I don't remember people I've met, things I've done ecc, and this scares me. A girl approached me calling me by my name and I didn't know who the hell she was and how she knew my name. She said we introduced ourselves and talked but I don't remember a thing! (I'm rather introvert, I don't introduce myself to lots of people in a month) Then, from what she said, I was able to understand that we met, and presumably talked, right after I had a lesson at uni, during which an extremely thin girl sat in front of me and I could stare at her for an hour and a half. Then I got out and talked to this girl, and who knows what I said, I don't recall it at all.

I feel horribly all the time, most of the days. I keep thinking about food and the fact that I'm gaining weight. I know it's my copying mechanism, my way out when there's none left. I don't know what to do.

So sorry to hear that you are still struggling so much and that it seems like things aren't getting better as you desiring them to be.... I hope that you are still seeing your therapist so that you are able to continue talking out all your feelings in person to someone who can continue to guide and help you professionally in this matter.

I can relate to alot of things you are saying here.. When I was younger I did struggle with these thoughts and feelings as well... To be honest there are days that I still do think some of these thoughts when I see someone who I find myself comparing my own self to as well...... It can be quite difficult and challenging when we have an idea in our own minds of how we want to look and feel or who we want to look and be like.... I wish I had the answers myself on how to get around all the emotions and the feelings. I try to think about the "stengths" that I do in fact have as apart of my coping skills with it. Its a challenge, but you just keep going and do your best to take one day at a time.

Thank you for checking in this past week and letting us know how things have been continuing to go for you. Best wishes that you are able to start feeling better, and I hope that you are able to find some type of support from those around you in your life such as your boyfriend and any friends that you may have.

Great part of this occurred because my therapist let me down badly. She may have re-traumatized me, or awaken the trauma again with her behavior, and she seems to have no intention to realize it. I'm still going to therapy but so far we couldn't fix things and I don't trust her. In the meantime, my boyfriend convinced me to abandon my eating disorder to rely on his help, then the nxt day he said he was fed up and would have left me. It really was the first time I tried to trust someone to get support and rely on him, as far as I can remember. We already talked about it, he was sorry and now he's back helping me, but now I'm more convinced than ever that I can't trust anyone and that I'm alone. I really feel like I am, like there was VOID around me. I go to university 4 days a week for 4-8 hours and no one would talk to me, or they just answer briefly when I attempt a conversation, but clearly they don't want to get involved. And I understand: it's so clear that there's something wrong with me. One day I'm kind of fine, the next day I stare the void and struggle to answer if someone asks me something or just says hi, or I can't stay still, I shake and make little sense when I talk, I forget things, I avoid eye contact and act all weird. They probably thought that I'm too out of it and that they'd better flee, and they were also probably right.
I feel so in need of support, but I don't know who to turn to.
I don't like the world, the way I see it, the way it seems now. And I don't like waking up in the morning. It's getting bad. I looked for support groups in my area or helplines, but there are none. Well, there is a helpline, but it's not available 24h and the service is closed in the morning, when I need it the most, and It doesn't have a chat option, so I can't call the hotline at university or in public, when I would need it. I'm trying to figure out what to do, how to reach out, but..... I think the worst thing is that I don't trust anyway

Last week was hard, I had training so was actually at work and full time days for 3 days in a row. Basically doing everything to get there and sit through it took up my spoons, I was napping most of the evening and mostly sleeping all night although sometimes I was up just from feeling sick from the toll doing that took. My husband was taking care of everything else those days. I then had a weekend trip and while that was fairly low key and I slept through much of the travel I did end up with an HAE attack shortly before planning on coming back.

I'm pretty wiped out today, hopefully will be up for the gym later this week.

Hey there!...

Wow, seems like you truly had a Very busy and eventful week!..... Sounds like that was alot more than "usual" for you?!

Its good that you were able to get in the rest that your body obviously seemed to need!... How was your trip? Did you go anywhere fun? Sorry to hear about the attack that came on. But I'm sure knowing you, that you were quite prepared for that situation and was able to deal with it as necessary!...

Hope that you were able to get your gym time in this week... I know how much better I feel when I am able to get my time in .... when I was out for so long in pain, It was driving me nuts being unable to go when I wanted, and just missing that time I physically needed.

Thanks so much for checking in and keeping us up to date on how things are going with you!
