🎃 This past week went well for the most part...... Some things could've been better like sleep & water intake, but stayed on track with meals and meal planning. I intend to take a break over the next week, and do a "reset" on things starting in November.
👻 The weather has still been beautiful .... the leaves continue to turn & fall. It so beautiful here & it's still been pretty mildly warm here. Getting outside for continued walks, activity and Fur-baby time 🐾 has been going quite well. I'm continuing to teach classes, although I only taught one this past week. But, have been co-teaching another local class with another instructor friend. Doing what I can to continue to be and stay as active as I can, as we continue to move through all the changes of the past year.
🍂 This weekend there will be MANY Fall festivals around different parts of town... I intend on taking a break from Activity/Workouts this weekend, (Which I haven't done in a while)....and intend to just enjoy & join in local festivities and get in alot of walking and steps doing that. And plan for my birthday week ahead with my little family.~
🎃 ENJOY THE WEEKEND AHEAD~
@PoliteOcean Depression is very hard and I don't if I can tell anyone. I get anxious time to time. This week was bad but now it's a bit good. I really hope everything gets well soon 💙
@SoftFaith2004
Hey there Faith....I agree that Depression can be tough for sure. And a very challenging emotional thing to deal with and address. It can certainly be hard to talk with others about it when you aren't sure how. Or possibly feel that others won't understand. Or even feel embarrassed due to the stigma that can surround it.
We are sorry to hear that you had a bad week. And we hope that things continue to get well for you too.
Just remember that we are here for you at 7cups. And there are so many here who understand and care. Thank you for being brave enough to share your feelings this week and letting us know how you've been doing. Please keep us updated on how things are continuing to go for you.

I can't believe the month is over already WOW I'm learning to go easier on myself. This is something I'm just starting so it'll be my goal for the month ahead.
🎃 Who took part in the "HEALTH EDUCATION WEEK" here in the HL Subcom? What things have you learned from the event? If you haven't taken part, please CLICK HERE to review the week's daily topics and event host by our Subcom Mentor.
There was lots of great info shared. I still need to catch up on some of it.
👻 JUST FOR FUN: What was your Favorite Halloween Costume growing up?! If you were able to Trick or Treat for fun this year, Who or What would you go as?!
I've never been big on Halloween.
🎃What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?!
I'm still trying to find a new therapist but I did make some headway on my other health issues.
👻What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~
I'm looking forward to starting my training to become an addiction rehab counselor.
@777Bre777
Hey there Bri~ Its so great that you are learning to manage going easier on yourself. I think that is a wonderful goal to work towards!
We are glad to hear that you are aware of the Health Education week topics! And hope that you find some of the topics beneficial to you.
Despite still trying to find yourself a new therapist, its really awesome that you are making headway on other health issues in your life. Any little steps and progress is still progress. So thats great for you. Good luck on your continued search to find the right therapist for yourself. Its really important to find the best providers that we can feel the most connected with personally. So that we work with them towards getting the best healthcare that we can.
Good luck in working towards your training in addiction rehab counseling. That is a great field to work in, and so many who need the help and will continue to need the help in the future.
Sounds like you are really doing a great job for yourself. Continue to keep up the great work that you are doing. We appreciate you taking time to share with us this week and keeping us up to date on how things are going.
@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday I went grocery shopping and also for a walk. Wednesday I went to acupuncture. I was going to go for a walk, but I didn't bring my baseball cap and it was sprinkling outside so I skipped the walk. Friday Deysi wasn't feeling well so she canceled on me. I'm still doing my home-based physical therapy exercises. Worked out some relationship issues with my nephew Rex who is an electrical engineer. I'm going to put him on my weekly update email list. Friday night my browser wasn't cooperating so I just watched T.V. I've cut down on my psychology videos to 1 hour per day. For this upcoming week, I'm going grocery shopping and for a walk on Monday, acupuncture on Wednesday and hopefully for another walk on Friday. Deysi is going to be absent from Nov 2nd to Nov 8th, so that's going to be another week without acupuncture. I'm in a holding pattern as far as goals is concerned since the special needs trust has ruined my life. My left leg still shakes from the stress. For my devotional life I'm studying the book of Zechariah.
@Regmo
Hey there Regmo~ Sounds like your week got started off on the right foot with getting errands done, keeping up with your appointments And attempting your walk. Its great that you are still working on your Home-based PT exercises. And how awesome for you that you managed to work out some things with your nephew. And it sounds like you have another good week ahead of you with keeping up with your appointments and making a schedule to get your activity goals in! Great job on that! Sorry to hear that Deysi will be taking some time off. Hopefully that won't get you behind too much in your appointments. In what ways do you feel the special needs trust has ruined your life? Is it different things or something specific about it? Hopefully these are also things that you are able to touch upon with your therapist as well to help you sort through those feelings. I think its really good that you are still keeping up with and working on your devotional life. Hopefully by doing so, it will in some way help to continue to keep things in your life grounded. Its certainly appreciated you checking in this week to keep us up to date on things. We continue to be here to support you in any way that we can.
@PoliteOcean
What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?! walking more
@greenYard2803
Hey Yard! Walking more is definitely a superb way to manage our stress. I find that whenever I go on a walk I feel so much more refreshed. I totally get how it can be tough to find the time to go out and do some exercise though. The fact that you're identifying this and working towards improving on it is really commendable! Feel free to keep us updated on your progress! We'd love to hear more about your exercise and walking journey! 💗
@PoliteOcean oh how nice
