**AND ANY & ALL THAT WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US~
☀️ This week has seemingly been a quick one... Last weekend it was pretty hot & humid here, But I managed to start off both days with my typical early weekend Zumba classes...~ On Saturday we got out to a local festival, some shopping, & dinner out in the evening.... Sunday was spent relaxing after my class, & an outdoor walk with family.~
🌴 This past week was standard in staying on plan & track with my goals for June, as well other scheduled works & tasks... Sleep has held decent & steady, as well as Hydration... Despite the heat-up in the weather & some periodic rain, we still managed through the week with getting things done around our home outdoors, working on getting the pool opened & outdoor walks... I was also able to enjoy catching up with family members & an old friend that I haven't seen or talked with in awhile.~
🌊 This weekend ahead intentions are for early Workout classes to start off each day, as well celebrate the Father's Day weekend.~ Other intents for Saturday are a Local Pool-side Wellness Event, & then a Pre-Father's Day dinner Saturday evening... On Sunday for Father's Day, after my class, intents are possibly lunch at the Lake, then coming together with a few men in my family to celebrate, before preparing for a new week ahead.~
HAPPY WEEKEND~
@PoliteOcean
I would rather sit poolside 😁💙
I'm celebrating fathers day with my dad Sunday, so blessed with all he has been through that I can spend it with him.
Then my mother's birthday.
My parents anniversary.
My nephew's graduation party from primary school.
My Uncles 60th birthday.
And my cousin's christening of their child.
So lots of fun, lots of family time, and lots of present buying 😁
Making memories is what ultimately counts.
Have a great weekend Polite 🩵

@Amanda84
😮😮😮
Wow Amanda! … Are ALL of those things going on simultaneously for you in this one weekend ahead?!… Or are these all the things that will be coming up throughout the Summer months?!
Either way, it all sounds like so much fun. I love family moments, bonding, & making memories! Definitely plenty there for you to look forward to & to cherish. And even more wonderful for you that you get to spend Fathers Day with your dad this year. As it sounds like he’s been through a lot. So enjoy it All!!
Thank you for sharing with us & keep us posted on all of these events & how everything goes!

@PoliteOcean
How was your week?...
week had lots of ups and downs but for most part was ok
What are your plans for the weekend
ahead?!
nothing really other then calling dad on father day if can and Healthwise feeling up to it might try to go to church on Sunday not been up to it for few weeks due to the health stuff
How do you feel about Summertime?....
we dislike summer it hard on us due to weather and like things that effected our asthma seems our asthma worst in summer then winter
What is your Favorite part of the Season
getting outside in evenings some and the thunderstorms
Do you have any Summer plans ahead?
not really
Would You Rather "Sit Pool-side", Or, "Sit Beachfront"?!...
lol going off this we not like either but we would like when was able to do this hiking back on a trail on the river then camping under the stars doing some fishing and cooking over a campfire
not able to do that any more but use to love it a lot would go alone a time of reflection and peace within nature
What were your "Highlights or Struggles" of the week?...
just dealing with health issues due to weather and other natural factors
How were you able to work through your Challenges in a Healthy Way?!
we stayed inside a lot went out when home aid was able to be with us due to we get disy a lot get worst when weather is hot or changes fast so being mindful of them things asking for help even telling her we not feeling well the one day we did not go out but went her to store for us
today was having good day health wise so took and went to laundromat so could wash cloths she was good put cloths in washer then dryer for us also kelp checking to see how we was doing
starting to get better at voicing what we need and not fearing others will get mad at us for voicing needs and feelings
@stormieandpaws
That’s good for you that despite a few ups & downs in the week that it was mostly OK for you…~
And hopefully you will be able to have moments this weekend to enjoy such as calling your Father for Fathers Day as well as being able to get to Church. I know how going to church & hearing the “Word” can be so helpful & beneficial for our Spiritual health & wellbeing. Which can certainly improve other areas in our lives.
As far as Summer, it’s definitely understandable that for those who have certain health conditions that it may be harder & more difficult to tolerate the summer heat. Hopefully this season won’t be too terrible for you. And it’s nice that you are able to find moments you enjoy by getting out in the evenings as well as enjoying the Thunderstorms. I imagine that both can bring a reduction in the heat! And also I know for some people, they find thunderstorms to be soothing. And may even get better sleep!
Oh wow, (although I’m personally not into hiking because I’m not much for “wooded” areas), however, the River, camping under the stars, the fishing over the campfire, all of that sounds really nice, And rather fun! Those things I wouldn’t mind doing. (Maybe I’d even throw in a few scary stories around that campfire & add some S’mores)!! 😃….
It’s Definitely a time to find peace when within nature. Sometimes we don’t have to go “too” far to find that. Perhaps you could create those moments in smaller & more creative ways?… (Simple moments at night in your backyard, or on your front or back porch looking at the stars, lighting a candle while listening to the different sounds, a small picnic outside, or sitting outdoors with some soft music or nature sounds)…etc… Sometimes we may have to find smaller ways to connect with the things we enjoy Especially if we are unable to do the bigger things for whatever the reasons.... It’s really great that you have the assistance that you need and that it’s available to you for help... Maybe they could even help you with some “smaller enjoyable” things if or when the time & weather permits?!
That’s also great that you are getting better at speaking up for yourself & voicing your needs & concerns. It’s definitely important to advocate for ourselves!... Great job to you there and keep up the great work you are doing! 👍🏼
Thank you for checking in to share with us. And please continue to keep us updated on how things are going for you.
☀️ Hey all Welcome to the Weekend~ How was your week?... Throughout this weekend there are many events (between "Juneteenth", "Father's Day", & "Summer Solstace"), What are your plans for the weekend ahead?! My week was "I survived". The weather has been weird all week and flare ups had my joints and chronic pain showing its ugly face.....Even with the new medication, the breakthrough pain has been bothersome.....although it hurts, I try to continue to with light movement....its like a double edged sword....if I sit still I get stiff and hurt, but if I move or do too much, I hurt.....so I try to find a balance during these flare ups.....and mentally, it kills me because I used to be and want to be, very active, riding my bike, lifting the weights, etc.....and I can't.....I have to back off, slow down, etc.....
My plans for the weekend......Saturday there is a "veterans" picnic put on by the local Veterans Administration office that I hope to attend....but again, the weather is overcast, windy and calls for some showers so we will see what happens.....Sunday I plan to stop in and see dad then head to the lake....its supposed to be 74 and sunny so hopefully I can get in some reading and a couple of nice leisurely paddles and floats in the kayak....
🍍 This is our "3RD" Check-in for "JUNE", & Many of us will be entering the Summer Season on Sunday the 21st... How do you feel about Summertime?....I love the sun and heat....
What is your Favorite part of the Season & Do you have any Summer plans ahead? My favorite part of the season is just relaxing with the sun on my skin.....Only plans I have is to head to the beach for a week in July and spend as many nice days I can at the lake here when the weather permits....
🌴On June 21st, marks "NATIONAL DAYLIGHT APPRECIATION DAY"~ It recognizes the Summer Solstice (The Longest Day of daylight in the Northern Hemisphere)..... It encourages us to celebrate the many benefits of the SUN... Doing so helps to (Reduce energy consumption, has many Health benefits, Positive psychological effects, Boosts Mental Health, Helps lower Depression, Increases energy, & gives us Natural VIT. D from the Sun)!... WHAT will you do, or how could you take part, celebrate, & enjoy NATIONAL DAYLIGHT APPRECIATION DAY for yourself?! Spend the day soaking it in.....
🌊 JUST FOR FUN: It's Summertime weekend~... Would You Rather "Sit Pool-side", Or, "Sit Beachfront"?!... Both are great....I can do either, but the amount of people present will make the decision for me as to where I park my backside.....
☀️ What were your "Highlights or Struggles" of the week?... Struggles, as I mentioned above, were the weather related pain issues.....Highlight, as small as this is....I finished my book and started another one......it takes me a lot longer than it should to read a book because I read in spurts.....I'm really into it for a few days then I set it down and binge watch television in my free time instead, then pick up the book again days later.....🍍 What is something else that "YOU" want to Talk about, Add, Or Share with us this week?!... We want to hear from YOU~ As always, thanks for posting these and getting me to think about the things in life....

@CyclingThroughLife
Cycling! 🚴 ~ What a pleasure to have you back with us for a 2nd consecutive week~
So sorry to hear that you’ve been dealing with chronic pain & flare-ups.. I know personally how that can affect our overall wellbeing, (mentally, physically and emotionally)... “Especially” when we are already living a very active lifestyle & have to make adjustments in what we’ve been doing. While also trying to manage & navigate the pain & other things in our lives. It can definitely feel like quite a burden. Not sure if you are going to a pain management facility, regular pcp, or if you’ve done any physical therapy? But Hopefully you are able to manage & find a pain regimen that works better for you. (I’ve found proper rest & time has helped, “despite” not wanting to take the time or those breaks when I needed them)! But sadly patience has never been a virtue for me when I wanted to workout & couldn’t. So I feel for you!
It sounds like you have an amazing weekend planned. Hopefully by time you see this, that you were able to enjoy that Veterans picnic?! And that the weather held up for it… And how nice that you will get to spend time with your dad as well as enjoying some time on the lake. The kayaking sounds like a really great time! Also, (that 74 degrees is perfect to me)! 74-84 degrees for me is a great range. I’d love to see that year round.. Anything lower isn’t really summer. But anything higher gets a little tricky unless you’re on water or in it! Lol.. but I’m like you & love the Sun & Heat myself. (& the lake, & the beach)! 🏝️ So enjoy them!
Ha.. I always thought we both lived some kind of a parallel life. As we enjoy & dislike a lot of similar things. So I totally get what you say about “depending on the amount of ppl” will make the decision for you as to where you’ll enjoy being!… Not only that, like you, reading can go either way as well! I have a book I requested TWO Christmases ago, & STILL haven’t gotten past the first few chapters, (let alone complete it), because I do the same things as you., lol…
Thanks so much again Cycling for checking in to share with us this week! It was a pleasure to read through & to hear how you’ve been doing & what’s going on your life. And I hope that you feel up to doing more things you enjoy doing again soon~ Please don’t be a stranger. And continue to let us know how you’re doing.

@neonWriter8115
Yes being a caregiver & provider can definitely be a challenge (& even a blessing)…
I was a Nurses assistant for 5 years before becoming a Nurse of the past 22yrs… So I can feel for you in knowing what difficulties you must have experienced & endured. It’s surely not for the weak. And it takes alot of strength mentally & emotionally.
I hope that you are able to rest & recover as you need both body & mind! And all the best to you!
Thank you .. yes im working on it i see a neurologist this week so hopefully he can ease some of this for me .. I need sleep ive been running on less than 3 hours today..ugh too old for that lolol.. blessings to you ..
Im not sure what to say here. I have an addiction problem and it's threatening my marriage. My wife just wants me to show her the love she deserves. I started this last weekend. I put some things out there that I needed to see if it was a step in the right direction. If I have no direction for the day, im frozen and indecisive of what to do. I have no energy or motivation to do anything unless I have to. My wife asked me if I have talked to anybody about my addiction. I told her that I reached out to this site to get some kind of support and looking around for resources to help me through my stuff. So here I am. Willing to open up and reaching out.
@generousCircle6533
Hi there~
Im Ocean, The leader of the “Healthy Living community” which you are currently posting in. Welcome to 7Cups~
It sounds like you have a lot going on personally both in your marriage as well as in admitting that you have an addiction. Both of those are definitely major things in life that can affect our overall health & wellbeing in many ways. And It’s great that you’ve taken a huge step in coming here to 7Cups & reaching out for support.
We have an amazing support system here at 7Cups through our various communities that can help you along the way going forward.
I feel the need to guide you to some of our other Sub-communities here that can possibly help assist you better with your current situations…
We have our communities in the following:
ADDICTION SUPPORT
ADDICTION & ALCOHOL SUPPORT
RELATIONSHIP SUPPORT
DEPRESSION SUPPORT
And we also have our very many wonderful listeners here that can chat with you in a personal 1-1 chat if you feel that might work better for you?! … As well as our Group Support Chats where you can chat in a safe group setting with others who may be experiencing what you are going through as well. And all of these options & guidance are free at your fingertips.
(And we also have Therapists here at 7cups, although that is separate & costs a fee to chat with).
So perhaps taking a look around our 7cups community & focusing on the communities & options above could help in better guiding you towards the “specific support” that you may need during this time?!

@PoliteOcean
How was your week?... Throughout this weekend there are many events (between "Juneteenth", "Father's Day", & "Summer Solstace"), What are your plans for the weekend ahead?! I barely knew it was the summer solstace. I was so worried about my movers arriving the following day. They didn't arrive.
🍍 This is our "3RD" Check-in for "JUNE", & Many of us will be entering the Summer Season on Sunday the 21st... How do you feel about Summertime?.... What is your Favorite part of the Season & Do you have any Summer plans ahead? I love summer. It is my favorite season. My plans are to unpack after my boxes finally arrive on the 30th.
I noticed how light it was late, but I didn't know that it was national daylight appreciation day.
🌊 JUST FOR FUN: It's Summertime weekend~... Would You Rather "Sit Pool-side", Or, "Sit Beachfront"?!... sit pool side if the pool is taken care of
☀️ What were your "Highlights or Struggles" of the week?... How were you able to work through your Challenges in a Healthy Way?! The movers are not treating me well. They say they'll call and they don't. They put me on hold and it ends up being for over an hour. Don't ever use American Van Lines. They aren't trustworthy. I'm afraid that's all I have for now. All my frustrations are with the movers.
@purpleTree4652
Hey there Tree~
Sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time with your movers. And haven’t received all your boxes yet. Definitely sounds like a challenge. And the fact that they aren’t supposed to arrive until the 30th certainly doesn’t make things better! As That surely seems a long time to have to wait for your items.
Have you spoken to any managers or whoever is in charge? (Although I’m not sure if that will get you anywhere or any further along in your plight)….
Hopefully you will get them by the date that you were quoted. But it’s definitely worth thinking about leaving a review on this company as you’ve stated here, as it definitely might help others in not having to go through the hassles that you are currently having with them. They most definitely sound irresponsible and unprofessional.
Hopefully the month going forward moves along better for you where that is concerned. And that other things at your sisters house are continuing to go well for you & Chloe?..
Please continue to keep us updated on everything. And thank you for sharing with us this week.
