Inner Compass inside us
📍I’ve come to realize that having an inner compass is one of the most important tools in life. It’s that gut feeling, that quiet voice that guides you when things get tricky. It helps you stay true to your values and make choices that align with who you really are. I know for me, it wasn’t always easy to listen to that voice. I used to second-guess myself a lot, constantly looking for reassurance from others.
How do you know when you're listening to your inner compass? For me, it's that feeling of calm and confidence when I make a decision that feels right deep down, even if it's not the easiest or most popular choice. It’s like an internal GPS that helps you navigate life’s ups and downs.
Sometimes it takes time and self-reflection to get in tune with it, and there are days when it feels hard to trust. But I've learned that when I make space for quiet moments, whether through journaling or just being alone, I can better hear that inner guidance. It’s not a one-time thing; it evolves with you as you grow and learn. How do you stay connected to it, especially when you’re feeling lost or uncertain?✨
For me praying and journaling my thoughts help me regulate my emotions. It is easier for me to feel stressed at times. Thus, praying benefits me a lot. It helps me understand the importance of humility. I even enjoy being with myself. It gives me peace and calmness from the busy world.

That's great! Thank you for your sincere and genuine response🌟
You're welcome
Truth I think it's what separates us from the ones that don't have a moral compass are ill-minded disingenuous and I think common sense is a scale and idea that it is okay to make a predetermination that a subject and normally a human another person is fundamentally bad accepting it is one thing however by acceptance does not mean implementation or presence It's okay to create an evasion to stay away from those kinds of harmful thinkers..

For me, I can tell I’m listening to it when decisions feel aligned with my values, even if they’re not the easiest or most obvious choices. It’s that calm feeling that confirms I'm on the right path, even if it’s uncertain. To stay connected to it, I try to take moments of quiet, whether through walks or reflection, to help clear my mind. When I’m feeling lost or uncertain, I find that journaling or talking things through with someone I trust helps me reconnect <3 <3

I have been learning to tell the difference between my inner compass and my traumatic survival instincts, and that alone has changed everything. My compass usually speaks in calm truths, while fear screams in urgency. When I slow down, journal, or just sit in silence, I can finally hear the part of me that is steady and knows I am safe to choose what aligns with who I am becoming.
This really resonates with me! That part about second-guessing yourself hits home. I used to poll everyone around me for their opinions before making any decision, which just made things more confusing honestly.
@timabo7055 I know I’m making the right choice when I feel at ease the thought just comes to me and it feels like peace
