Pride 2023 Rainbow Challenge

As we continue our celebration of Pride month, I’m asking everyone to join in and show us your rainbow.

The rainbow has become one way of signaling to others that we are members of the LGBTQ+ community, not everyone wearing or carrying a rainbow is of course, but that is true for any form of subtle signalling. (To learn more about some of these secret signals from the past and present check out this thread.) For many this signal isn’t about shouting our LGBTQ+ identity to the world, but rather a way of letting each other know we’re not alone.

So to join the Pride 2023 Rainbow Challenge it’s simple all you need is a rainbow, one that you like or expresses you. It can be your favourite rainbow clothing, a piece of art you’ve made, or other rainbow items you have collected, maybe even something you’ve seen and always wanted. What about a poem about a rainbow? It’s all up to you, the key word to this assignment is “rainbow”, you take it from there!

So let’s fill this space with some beautiful rainbows to go with all of the amazing people here! In this challenge, everyone wins because we all get rainbows!
