What's something (besides your phone) that you take with you everywhere and why?
I always have a peppermint chewing gum or fisherman's friend with me because sometimes I get a dry cough.

Good idea to wear the ring on a necklace! It must mean a lot to you that you never take it off.
I hope there are things that help you to ease your pain 💙
@amiablePeace77 That's right! Currently, thanks to the dermatological treatment, my eczema is under control. Thank you very much for your comment!

What's something (besides your phone) that you take with you everywhere and why?…… My “Purse”!
That way I’ll have “everything else” with me that I need! (Hand sanitizer, wipes, water, my phone, credit cards/money, and pepper spray! ….& more if it will fit! Lol …as I never go anywhere without these mentioned items.
Nothing unless you count my clothing.
I often go out without my Keys and Wallet.
I see this as a good thing. Possessions can be a burden. Doubly so if I felt compelled to take them with me.
Wallet, keys, disposable masks, lip balm, period products, sunglasses, pen and journal, mp3 player and earbuds.
I forgot flashlight, whoops.

I have a little med kit in my backpack, with pain and nausea meds. But if I'm just using my pockets I like this spikey ring that lets me fidget/get sensory input to avoid picking.
Apart from my phone...The only other things I carry are my keys and my bluetooth earbuds. Sometimes, I don't really need to carry my license (while walking) nor my debit/credit cards, since I have everything electronically registered on my phone. I don't have a wallet anymore and need to get a new one...There's an app supposed that legally registers one's license, so I could technically do that, but not all institutes will recognize it unless it's a physical copy.
I used to go for walks and carry a coffee or Gatorade with me sometimes, but haven't done that in a long time.

Not everyone is set to accept the current technical innovations but I guess this will become a normal in future.
I hope you will be able to go for a walk soon again, may I ask what is preventing you at the moment?
@amiablePeace77 I only like the technology so I can carry less things with me and have only one item. I grew up in a small town where the technology wasn't really...there yet. Had rotary phones for decades, no self-check outs when it was already a thing, and had to drive close to an hour to the city to shop for certain items. Ended up picking a fascination for tech like my old man, he's in his 80s -- tech is interesting and ever growing, but not all is necessary.
As for the walking--
Due to a couple of traumatic events, my body is not capable of much anymore and I have sharp chest pains and chronic pain in other places... I also see a certain someone in this city who nearly made me unalive and screw my body up and past stalkers, so it's unsafe to go in certain areas. I have agoraphobia for those reasons and have to be careful. Once I move out of this city, I will be much safer from those types of people who want to cause me harm. The police are not helpful and claim they're unable to catch this person when I gave them the whereabouts and have a restraining order against this person.
