Rebuilding trust in ourselves and others
Check-In for June 23rd to June 25th 2025
Self-trust is not always having the right answers and believing you will always do the right thing, it is the conviction on you that you will be kind to yourself regardless of the outcome of your effort. Soemtimes we lose trust in others because they lied, said something hujrting or their actions showed us non-trust.
Self-trust is defined as firm reliance on the integrity of ourself. The difference in life is grounded in our self-trust and one which is not. People who are self-trusting has clarity and confidence in their choices. They will speak with authority coming from a deep place but without being arrogant.
These type of people learn from their success and failures. Some people live in a world of regret and have misguided notions of you should not have regrets. Regret it self is not the problem it is when we have no remorse for what we did or said. The bigger the regret the deeper the shame. Just like the compassion and forgiveness we have towards others we have for ourselves.
Here are 15 ways to rebuild trust in others whether it is famil, friends, a significant partner-

I think people should talk of just building trust again......... not re- building because far too many IMO think rebuilding is doing the same as before. Why build something we know has broken in the past.
The posters of list is that a mix or match thing? In reading these I would only ever use 1,2,5 ,7, 10 and 15. The rest seems like areas the discussion will be derailed and off track.

I experienced the worst kind of betrayal at work last year… it was very painful and it took me a long time to recover
I am in a new job, new country, and I trusted someone again fully… she just betrayed me this morning and I feel so stu*id for trusting again and confide my thoughts and opening my heart to whom -I thought, was understanding me
i don’t know how to learn this lesson really… I always seem to believe in people 😢

Sorry you had to go through this, there's nothing more painful 🥺 but it's a reflection on them and not in you. I find it hard to open up and when the trust is gone, it's gone for me 💜🥰
