This is a unique post! I have officially created a badge on 7 Cups of Tea called Fly Swatter. The story behind this is that I reported a huge bug for profiles where a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) hacking attack could've potentially happened, and doing so, I pointed out that people should get a badge for reporting bugs that result in an improvement to the site, called Fly Swatter. Just today, I checked my profile and saw that I was awarded the Fly Swatter Badge! Applied for the Icon badge for creating the badge, but yeah. Super excited right now! :D @Maygun @Jake

I don't really want to big myself up or anything but I'm just really happy about the few badges that I have been awarded recently - The Appreciation Buddy badge, the Speaker badge and The Pen pal badge..I'm really glad that I'm able to be here and help others it's so rewarding and I can't ever imagine not being a listener now :) 🌸 ❤

I don't know if this is the right thread to post this in, but I was looking over the badges last night and thinking how great our listeners, peer mentors, moderators, mentors - well pretty much everybody here is a 7 Cups, and thinking that I need to get on it and nominate others for badges a lot more often. Then I thought, hey, there is a badge for almost everything - how about a badge for nominating members for badges? It would be a Metabadge of sorts, and a way to motivate us here at 7 Cups to be mindful of the support we give and receive, and to change our gratitude into action. I'd love to have a badge that encourages me to remember to show, in a concrete way, my appreciation for some of the great individuals here, and the service they do.

First of all: Wow, you are lovely! Thank you so much for your support, I agree that listeners here are pretty special people.
I'm afraid that listeners can't nominate members for badges at the moment, only listeners can be nominated for badges. (You can read about them all in the Badge FAQ). There was talk a few months ago of introducing more member badges, you can read about that here and add your own suggestions for member badges.
Once/ if those extra member badges are introduced, I think a 'Metabadge' would be such a lovely idea - you can add that thought to the Listener Suggestion Box if you wish, that's the best way to make sure your ideas get seen by community managers.

Didn't meant to say members there - meant that the Metabadge would be earned by Listeners for the act of nominating a number of other Listeners, Peer Support, Mentors, Moderators, etc for badges.
