I Did It - Passed my CDL-A Test!

I understand what you mean about wanting the CDL for security. It is always good to have options💙. What will your next big goal be then? That one was huge!

Yes I am very tired. I think the kids are too though so we can all be tired together! We went canoeing twice (my favorite part), swimming at the lake twice, hiking several times - one of the trails was pretty intense and Jax wouldn't walk so that was interesting - we used Dr pepper, gummy bears, and marshmallows as "power-ups", gathered firewood from the trails and woods, made campfire food and roasted marshmallows for s'mores, played Catan (our favorite game) and cards, and walked to the bathrooms (it felt like) 100 times, lol.

The back of my left knee hurts. I'm not sure what happened but it feels like a pulled muscle. I will have to be careful but I plan to clean today anyway. I got a lot of things put away yesterday but have plenty of catching up to do!

I'm just waking up and drinking coffee and then I will work on emptying the backpacks and go from there💙

@IsayUncle. Good luck with your cleaning! What helps me when I am stressed about someone coming to visit and have to do a lot of cleaning is to plug in air fresheners or light candles, open the windows to let light in, and put on music! Oh, and coffee☕☕☕ lol. I wish I could come to help you!

I got the camping stuff putt away in the places I found for everything before the trip and got all the laundry together. Also worked on dishes but I still have more to do. My knee is feeling a lot better than yesterday thankfully! It only hurts a little now.

@IsayUncle It sounds like you are making good progress! That's awesome! Your sister will be there tomorrow? Don't forget about having a plan for food and drinks and bedding for that mattress. It doesn't sound like she gave you much preparation time but hopefully you will enjoy your time anyway 💙. And yes, we are all pretty zoned out! We were all unplugged 90 percent of the time while camping so everyone is excited to be catching up. Did I tell you we are camping next weekend too? Just for two days. It's for our 17th wedding anniversary.

@IsayUncle Oh that's good that you aren't stressed! You said you would be nice to her - you seem like you are nice to everyone. I'm not good at relationships either. If my sisters didn't make an effort I would just assume they don't care and wouldn't talk to them anymore.

A crazy thing happened while we were setting up camp. This guy in the next campsite kept looking over at me, almost staring. I just smiled and said "hi, how are you?". It turns out it was my older cousin and his wife that I hadn't seen in probably 20ish years. He could tell it was me because my voice is like my mom's he said. And I'm sure they've seen pictures on fac e book too. Their 24 year old daughter committed suicide a year ago and he said that I lost my parents and they lost a daughter and if I ever need anything to let them know. I thought that was really sweet 💙.

To answer your question, Justin likes camping but not as much as I do lol. At least he won't admit it. Obviously it's a lot of work and can be stressful with the kids but we both love nature and I think it's a great way for us to bond and make memories together after the stress of 2019 (being homeless) and 2020-2021 (Jaxon's surgeries and health issues).
