My first memories of being on 7 cups was trying to find my way around and getting lost everytime! It was fun getting lost sometimes because I got to find new things and I truly thought this place was a city, now it is a town 😊

alright so my first memory was after a chat I was, like oh boy what does this question mark do and then I clicked it and boom there I was in TL and then I saw people saying hi sky (my username was sky back then) and I I had no idea I was sky so in the crowd even I said I hi sky emand peeps were like silly that's you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hmmm this is a tough one 😮 My first (and probably fondest) memory of 7cups was taking my first general request. To be completely honest I was *petrified*. I was so confident one second and as soon as I introduced myself I was like "What am I doing? I'm not equipped to help this person! Maybe I'll just tell them I clicked on them by accident? Aaaa"
But then things started flowing, and I could just connect with this person on a human level, using the skills that I had just learned, but also the skills that we all learn throughout life, and it definitely wasn't as hard as I thought it was first going to be. I ended up talking to that person for a really long time, and that chat really motivated me to continue to learn and grow as a listener. This is so cheesy but I'm so so thankful for that first chat!

I remember I wanted to deeply absorb it and I used like a month to just train myself with guides, the forum and the tests and all before taking my first chat. I wish I did all of this sooner, but I don't regret it! Thank you. Tagging some great people

@mamtasha22 Aw thank you for the tag Tasha and that's definitely an amazing memory haha! And lol I am not sure if my Dory brain even remembers anything but I didn't enter the rooms until late February or early March and when I did, I found it really wonderful. The way the people welcomed me and were so kind to me is something that I can't ever forget! And I and Emma talked about my wonderful baking skills on making sugarless cookies haha! TL has changed a lot now but of course new people and new journey is always appreciated 😛 Tagging the most wonderful @calmingMermaid5761 and the loveliest @EmmaE :')

@SoulfullyAButterfly I remember being super nervous and freaking out in sharing circle room when i first joined😭 I kept asking questions and i think i ended up sharing something after that and everyone was so supportive of me, it felt so new and weird to me hehe. I loved how kind and compassionate people are here! happy early birthday 7 cups! :3
I remember trying to figure out how to get my account to stop making a dinging noise every time I got a new message😆 I found it so annoying at the time! I also being scared that I was going to mess up and say the wrong thing to a member. Over time I got the hang of it though and the trainings were really helpful!
Only 2or 3 rooms. Listeners could charge or you could tip them. Everyone was assigned a random name. No profile pics. Stayed a guest for like 3 months. Been lots of changes.
My first memory is when I took my first chat and that man was like 20 years elder than me , I was not able to empathise him as I was not able to understand his problem but still I listened to him and made him feel supportive so the thing which he told me at the end of our chat was heart touching, he said that no matter you did not able to understand my suffering or put any of your point or gave me your opinion, one thing I am so thankful to you is that you have given me so many smiles today which I missed since long, you are so like your username. After all this conversation he blessed me and gave me my first review hehehehe I still remember that person.🤗🤗🤗🤗That day I realised that how much elated we feel when we make even a little tinyy smalll positive difference in someone's life♥️♥️🤗
My first memory was very bad.I met very bad listener,unfortunetly i could not remember his nickname and could not report him.the next memory is that some of listeners was angry with me.they felt very insulting,simply that i understand something wrongly and told them.sorry to tell this I guess the listeners is as mad as I am.:-)so.for me this app is one more stressful area,that depressed me.but i have met also good listeners and thank to them.
@SoulfullyAButterfly My first memory using 7 cups is one I will never forget. I was going through a really tough time in my life and hurting and I just wanted that pain to end where I could feel better about myself. I decided the best way to heal was by being able to be a service to others and help people. It allowed me to grow as a person becoming a listener.
My first memory of 7 cup. Was Finding how to stop the bot Noni and talking to to the listener for the first time And When I firstly join sharing circle and @vicky and other mods stopped me in between because I wasn't listening to the person who was on queue I was just going on my on that's why they give me as short introduction about circle Thank you all!!
