Leadership Spotlight: Gracey
@Gracey has been a treasured listener here since 2014 (a real OG!). She’s a natural leader who has taken on several roles over the years contributing across domains. She even served as an Ambassador between 2020 and 2021 I have always appreciated Gracey’s kindness, approachability, and wisdom. She’s truly a remarkable mentor.
Why did you nominate Gracey?
Gracey has given 7 Cups (of Tea) years of service. She has had many roles, most recently she’s been an Ambassador. Mainly I feel like she should be recognized for her time as a listener. She has helped me tremendously for several years and I miss her but I wish her nothing but the best. <3

What motivates you to be a volunteer?
I've always been motivated to support people and make a little bit of a difference. No one has the power to change the world but we all have the power to make a small difference in someone's life
My proudest 7 cups achievement was when I first became a peer support back in 2014, a short time after joining 7 cups! It was my first real role on the site and I still remember feeling accomplished
Which fellow 7 Cups leader(s) do you especially admire and why?
I admire all leaders on the site because I know it can have its challenges at times and they all work very hard! I have loved working with too many amazing leaders to name over the years

@Gracey was motivation for what is now support plus, the reason a guide has been made for listeners and other people when talking to someone who has autism, and also why there is now a feature where people who have Autism can choose that as the conversation topic. Thank you so much Gracey for being an advocate.
