Guided Tour of the updated 7 Cups App! All Invited!
Last week, a new version of the 7 Cups app was released!

Yo im a listener. Anyone knows how to look for chat requests on the app? I just downloaded it

Hey! You're not a Listener. You appear to be a Member to me. If you have another account where you're a Listener you should see the requests on the bottom. Am I wrong @KrinkTheMellowUnicorn?
@cristiana33 - right now General Requests (the GR "queue") and Personal Requests (PRs) are shown in little menu thingies in the upper-right of the chat screen. Also, the Recent Chats screen has a space at the top for incoming PRs
In the old old app (before December) they were floating blobs on every screen. We still need a way to show people they have PRs incoming and an easier way to get to the queue.
One thing I plan to do is to give Listeners a direct menu option in the left-side navigation to go to the General Request queue (basically in the same place where Members have their Connect Now menu option).
I'm also open to suggestion about what would be convenient!

@cristiana33 - yes, you're right. we need to add that. I'll see if I can get that into the next update.
As you all may have noticed, we released this version as 2.5 and we continue to make fixes as we discover issues "in the wild" and we are not up to 2.5.6 or so on each client platform (iOS and Android).
@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn I say a new update should be to where you can call that person, if possible. A lot of people don't really like to text but then talk on the phone. That's just a suggestion I thought about,think about it and get back to me if you are willing to do that if possible.😊😊😊😊
@ProudnFreeBriana123 - hey Briana! When 7 Cups launched it had a voice option but it turned out that vastly more people were comfortabe text-chatting instead of talking to a stranger.
Also, I think it is somewhat challenging to make sure voice chats are safe and appropriate (although probably not impossible, just more difficult than with text chatting).
It's still something we can and might offer again in the future. Be sure to make a suggestion in the suggestions box!
