Open House Discussion Series with Laura!

I would like to discuss how 7cups can maintain the personal connection with our members with the increasing numbers of members served, the challenge of finding listeners that want to listen, and having the other resources we need to be a vibrant community.

RSVP for me on the Listener side - adult listener discussion. Looks to be scheduled to begin at 415pm my time, so I will be late as I'm coming home from an appt at that time. Is it about 60 minutes? I'll try to get here for at least a chunk of time :)

Hi Laura, I think 7 cups could do with more loyal and kind listeners. I don't think the application for becoming a listener should be too long and be to be related to people's true life situations and not just how to respond in a chat. They should make the process quicker. Also with listeners helping other members. There have been members here who said they get ignored alot of the time whilst talking to a listener or they end conversation. That should be addressed and if they get ignored the listener should have a strick and there stricks means they should be banned for a year.

@Laura So happy to see this! Sad I likely wont make it back home on time for today, I can only hope (and put the pedal to the metal? jk) but great to have these open house discussions back. Super important to have everyone heard :)
