Important Update -- Members & Healthcare

Another short but important post from me 🌟🦺

It has been decided that members are allowed to disclose in their bios that they are healthcare professionals. Please DO NOT flag members who state they are therapists, psychologists, work in medical care, etc.

FAQ

"Why have you made this decision?"
Members are not expected to give support, nor are they primarily here to do so. We don't see an issue with a member wanting to share that they have experience as a therapist/doctor etc., as long as they do not try to give medical advice.

"Does this also apply to listeners?"
No. Listeners are still not permitted to state anywhere on their profile that they are healthcare professionals UNLESS they also state that they are not on 7 Cups in that capacity and will not give medical advice.
