These are words of advice I have collected from the community.

You can submit HERE your advice or post here if the form causes you issues which I hope not :D

Don't let the haters stop you from doing your thing - Anon.

For 1-1 chats, remember to keep asking open-ended questions but regardless of the situation, if speaking with a member anywhere, always prioritise focusing on their current feelings whilst remembering not to give advice.

Stay positive but don't burn yourself out, take breaks and stay awesome <3

Always put your safety first you guys. You deserve all the love, always. You are worth of it, of all. And it is okay to ask for help. - Anon

Dad jokes are great - yes you can still find them on the oldie side (sometimes), rose is the best C: - Rose

Yah are awesome don't ever let a chat being u down keep up the good work. Y'all are world changers - Joyfulsummer88 CLICK

People will tell you that your teen years are supposed to be the best times of your life. For many people, that's true. But for a lot of people, it's not. And expecting these years to be the best of your life when you still have about 50 or 60 plus years ahead of you isn't fair to those other years. As a teen, everything inside you and around you is changing and growing and a lot of times those changes aren't pretty or fun. Life won't always be rainbows and butterflies, but it does get better! - Katheryn

Do not believe blindly in anything that one hands you, fact check it. - AntiOxidant

We love teens and we respect them, the same we expect to be respected in our space, if you will be open to interacting with us, we will welcome you. Too many teens upset the adults when they age up saying how they miss the teen side and want to go back, while that is understandable, we love our side and its not very fun hearing about how aged up teens are not very fond of it. Its give and take. - Anon

It is okay to mess up and need to ask for help, no matter how old we get, how long we have been here, what we do, where we are in leadership positions. We are far from perfect and are here to support each other. Conflict will happen, not everyone will get along with everyone, and that is okay. Like ice cream, all good flavors, but we have the ones that we consistently go to. If we try to please everyone, we will please no one.

Forgive. Not forgive and forget, just, FORGIVE. As hard as it can be to forgive someone, and even harder yourself, we can't change what has happened. Holding something in can be so damaging to our mental health. I'm pretty sure all of us are human, meaning we all make mistakes. Forgive, and never regret. Learn from it. Your past does not define who you are. - Teagan

Learn to take steps to build your self esteem. No one else usually will.

"Many people base their self-esteem on external factors, such as how much money they earn, how much they weigh and whether people like and appreciate them. If one of these external variables change, self-esteem can be broadly affected. For example, if your self-esteem is based on the fact that someone else loves you, then you risk feeling extremely vulnerable and worthless if that persons love ends. By the same token, building self-esteem is not an easy task if you have been abused or have suffered years of personal or professional failure.

Building your self-esteem and creating a positive self-awareness comes from taking an inventory of your own strengths and abilities as a human being. Being at peace with who you are and what you have to offer the world is a major part of having high self-esteem. This inner peace does not mean that you are unaware of your weaknesses; it merely means that you accept who you are and genuinely like the person you have become.

You should think about yourself as deserving of attention, admiration and proper maintenance. Avoid the pitfall of paying too much attention to the happiness and well-being of others and too little to your own. Maintaining self-esteem involves becoming fully aware of your strengths and seeing challenges as opportunities to employ those strengths." shared by SoulSings Author: By Lynn Ponton, MD

We all are here to help one another, and when we feel that we are stuck at some point it is good to ask for help rather than worrying about the thing and making it a bigger mess. Everyone here would be more than happy to help :)

Flame this is wonderful. I know many teens on here are very smart, but sometimes things happen. Not a teens fault but more so the adult-my thought only

So yes ADVICE I want to give to all you wonderful teens................

Be you-just be you and don't change for no one on here. Share what you feel you need to, don't let no one pressure you. Also if someone attaches to you to quickly "RED FLAG" please don't ever feel scared to come to a Teen Star, @kate @Heather225 or any ALT that you feel comfortable with.

I love each and every one of your teens. And I want to make sure this place is a safe zone for you. (also to grab cookies)

Hugs to all you awesome teensheart
