Nice to see tou all again!! How are you doing???

Every Monday, reply with your 3 'W's in the comments:

1. Win: What is one small victory you had this week? (Even if it’s just 1 hour clean, or using a distraction tactic).

2. Wave: Did you face a heavy wave/urge this week? How did you ride it out?

3. Word: What is one encouraging word or piece of advice you want to leave for the person who comments after you?

Lets set our rules now:

• The Buddy Reply Rule: Once you post your update, please read the comment right above yours and leave them a message of encouragement, a heart emoji, or a supportive thought!

• The Support Rule: Please be supportive to one another! Avoid unnecessary advices. Show empathy!

Our reminder:

💡 Reminder: Most of us take one step forward and two steps back: its all part of the progress, dont beat yourself up if you think that you are not moving forward. Even small steps or even trying is enough.

I guess a win could be that I'm 2 days clean.

It's been a really bad week I ended up relapsing a few days ago :/

Hi, I want to ask, what's wrong with self-harm?

@Dura2

this part of why id want to learn more i giving the link here  to webpage that has more on why it wrong

Self-harm might feel like it helps in the moment, but it causes real damage to your body, your brain chemistry, and your emotional well-being over time. What starts as a way to cope with overwhelming feelings can quietly become a cycle that gets harder to break and introduces new problems that didn’t exist before. Understanding exactly how self-harm hurts you isn’t about judgment. It’s about seeing the full picture of what’s happening so you can find something better.

personally i self harmed from very young age have many scars but i also say at first my self harm was little things but like a drug i had to have more and more went deeper and deeper to point i end up with staples i am 56yr old can say that self harm lead to other physical  and mental things within body yes i still at times self harm but it very bad on every part of my being and bad way to cope with emotions  hope this answers  your question  too

Win: What is one small victory you had this week?

i was able to see i was stressing out on things and end up resting more the win was both i saw it and that i allowed self to rest within that not feeling guilty i rested

2. Wave: Did you face a heavy wave/urge this week? How did you ride it out?

big one was wanting to give in to the feeling of wanting to self harm but then saw this rage i been having is not wanting to self harm but being angry  about things i can not change  so that was what was and is going on with in feel like a battle not sure others will get this

3. Word: What is one encouraging word or piece of advice you want to leave for the person who comments after you?

remember your actions are not who you be they just actions that  you be trying to change they not define you at all

thank you saw therapist  today she thinks the dizziness  is part of the fibro i have she looked it up and it stated that people with fibro can get dizzy spells not really nothing can be done she believes but at least she had a answer doctors seem not to have any answers about many things  i saw her for a little over a hour normally see her for 45 min

she thinks the rush of flashbacks and sleep terrors is due to now my brother who abused me very badly  no longer here due to his death that it like a door opened were it ok to voice things to be releaved he gone and can not hurt me any more  so a new layer of thing from the abuse is coming due to he no longer here so that makes since  too \

yes i having self harm thoughts but  mostly not acting on them she said once you be self harmer the thoughts and feel like you need to acted on them will always be there so in times of stress one might feel need to acted on it but ones who know other coping skills are ones who will not acted on it mostly  so she saying this can happen even with years of not self harming that was very helpful as made me feel better in away also see how far i came as the self harm was like lightly compared  to when i was at my worst as then there was many ER visits and landing in psychwared  so  that true too

thank you with my brother that was murdered i kinda found some peace within that but the lack of family caring ablout me then saying they love me kinda hits me hard when i post anything on FB i only get like hearts  they sometimes posted back but it only i love you nothing more and most just heart the post say nothing if they truly cared  i feel they post more and well at least say they care ask more questions but none of them do

my one ex sis in law will post a message in my messager there and ask more questions at times she same one that keeps me in the loop about my great niece that  just turned 1yr and had i think 7 heart surgeries  since birth and been in hospital most her first year of life

so it seem like 2 of my ex sis inlaws care more about me then my other family members

@stormieandpaws

Hey I understand how hard this can be for you. Your family members not caring enough is something I understand really, because of my family as well.

But I have to say that you have the 2 ex sis in laws and isnt that great somehow? At least you have someone to care for you. You can always focus on that. I know it hurts not to have a care from your family but we should be grateful for the people that are there for us as well

I understand how you feel though. Your feelings are valid. Take care of yourself✨️🤍

I know how hard this must be for you but as I said relapsing is part of the progress. Sometimes it doesnt feel like that and you feel like you failed yourself but trust me its okay. Dont beat yoursellf up for this just try to find better ways to help your self and your urges.
