Today, we are launching a new writers club, called the 7 Cups Writers Guild! This club will be for those of you who are natural readers and writers.

Project Goal: To create unique, interesting content to share on the 7 Cups blog for the enjoyment of both our community and outsiders.

Wed like topics to be interesting to a wide variety of people, and not necessarily based on personal stories and listening tips. The goal is to create and share content that can inspire and interest a broad range of people.

One way to think about this project, is headline grabbing, informative content. You can gain some inspiration from the below sites, but this will be the 7 Cups version!

BuzzFeed: https://www.buzzfeed.com/

Please also submit all information to this google form so that everything can be kept in one place for organizational purposes.

Other Important Info:

- Articles only need to be between 400-600 words each

- One goal is to make your article something that gets shared! Please see note below!

------->One last important note for all listeners (including those who do not want to write an article): All are welcome to help us come up with ideas for article titles, subjects and things that interest you! We need the entire community to let us know the type of content, you'd like to see! We hope you will help!

This will be an on-going community project and we hope to get to the point of posting 2-3 articles every week!

----->All who participate in this project will receive 20 cheers per article and the Da Vinci badge!

Please send your articles to me directly once complete: anna@7cups.com

IMPORTANT NOTE: The more shareable your article, the more people we reach. Follow these slides to make your article very shareable!

I would love to get involved with this! I'd like to write an article on LGBTQ issues because it's something I care a great deal about, but it looks like someone signed up to do something like that a while ago and I haven't seen anything so I think I may go ahead with it. Is that okay?

Hi, I'd like to add a topic to the list. I am an proud out lesbian teen and I am a published writer. I wanted to write an essay or article on gender fluidity in adolescence. If someone could give me feedback on adding the topic, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hey,

I am adding a topic to the sheet and will have it done by the 2nd March. The extended deadline is because the topic is a special interest of mine, I have personal experience, and I am also attending an event linked to it at the end of February, so I just want to make sure I don't miss anything out.

Topic is: Surviving Suicide

It's about what to expect following the suicide of a loved one. How to deal with things that arise, emotional and material, and about finding hope again.

Joining in on this :) Breaking away from journaling,I'd like to write about perfectionism - the negative drive behind it and potentialconsequences, but also how to explore healthier habits of going for excellence.I've put it down on the list - I think it ties closely with some of the previous published blog articles, though it's not been a focus yet. But do let me know if it's repetitive!Hope to sit down and ponder on this over the next few weeks!

@JadieCool, look forward to seeing your post. Perfectionism is an interesting topic & i'm sure there is something we can learn from a discussion on it. <3

I love to write. I write realistic fiction mostly, but almost anything is ok. I can write something in English or Spanish.
