As-salamu alaykum everyone, I hope you are all doing well. In most countries, the month of Ramadan has begun today. It is the month of fasting where Muslims fast for a month, focusing on their religion and their connection with God. We have a very diverse community and therefore we have Muslims among us! Many of whom will be fasting. You can read more here.

I am making this post to wish everyone Ramadan Mubarak. I hope you are able to get the most out of this month and reach your goals for the month.

Some facts about the month:

  • Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. The fast length differs from place to place based on how long the sun is up.

  • The fasting month lasts 29 or 30 days based on the moon’s sighting. It ends with Eid which is a day of celebration and feasting.

If you are not a Muslim but wondering how you can support your Muslim friends. You can be supportive by doing the following:

✰ Be sparing in food/drinks talk in public rooms or forums (recommended, not required)

✰ Wishing Ramadan Mubarak

You are welcome to share what the month means to you or the plans you have for it.

Thanks so much for this post ,it has allowed diverse faith holders to learn love accept each other more.

Actually this is one of the most basic features of Ramadan in the sense that it brings together in harmony not only Muslims but also all various respected humans.
