April 5: Therapist Directory & Community Launch
Hello everyone!
Many of you have been reading about this update in this thread.
Today, we push this update live. For the most part, this will not impact you or your experiences on 7 Cups.
But there is one part of this that will impact you: updated menu layout.
#1) "Find a Therapist" added on far left & Under "Get More Involved" you'll see "Join our Therapist Community"
#2) Update to status & account information
This change will launch at 9AM tomorrow morning! (Tuesday, April 5)

Update, @Laura - we are going to launch the changes at 9am eastern time tomorrow, just in case anything funky happens so we can easily roll back or revert if we need to.
Hang on everyone, it's going to be a heck of a ride!
@Laura It appears that the Browse Listeners tab disappears. Where do we find that when the change happens?
@AffyAvo I think under chat? This layout is pretty crappy tbh
@Bebrave101 - sorry you don't like the changes. the top menu was getting pretty crowded. browse listeners has always been on the chat menu but it also had its own direct link. if folks can't find it we'll adjust it again.
@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn oh! I didn't mean it with disrespect or to be rude, just hate when things change. That's all!

we all hate change, especially unexpected change and change we had no say in!
folks here on this site maybe even a bit more than most :)
let's see how this settles in and I am totally open to continuing to improve it... getting menus right is tricky :)

Well when you say "crappy".. people who worked hard for it may feel offended. Maybe a better way would have been just to express what you don't like about it and how else you would have seen this change. Things can change from this step forward too, btw! Let's not forget 7 Cups is still a startup and we are all learning, growing, getting better together! So everyone's opinion matters here.

I personally LOVE this change and can't wait to see it becoming part of our community. I've been skeptical by many things that came into our world here on 7 Cups, but they all kinda turned out to be pretty magical ;) soo let's see how it works!
I like how "Solutions" tab turns into "Get more involved".
@cristiana33 yep, you're right. Not the best choice of words.
@cristiana33 - it looks like it is going to go back to being "Organizations" -- I thought it might make sense to have various ways to get more involved in one place, but we're moving the "become a listener" link out to its own place like before (apparently it affects signup if it's not so visible!) so the menu will go back to being just for supporting orgs.
@AffyAvo I like the menu changes. Something was done with the font (colour, style, not sure what) and I find it much easier to read!

When clicking on the link in your message, it brings us to this thread again, rather than the thread with more information about the Therapist Community.

Looks good! I'm sure it will take some time getting used to, as with all new things, but I like the update.
