Seeking Help
Mental stress can cause us not to be able to see the good things in life and lead to excessive rumination or worries which can result in serious health problems. If you have serious, long-term problems with negative thinking and feeling depressed, see your doctor or talk to a therapist if they are related to any mental challenges.

@amiablePeace77 I'm staying out of the sun it's 1am right now and I've been sat outside for over an hour just watching the stars with some coffee and good music, ready to watch the sunrise in a few hours😁💖 also it's so hot I have 2 cold showers a day, and drink 500 bottles of water
@Tinywhisper11 watch out for sitting out at night you might get moon burn!
lol just kidding.
@soulsings moon burn 😱 ohhh noooo! I wonder if they sell special moon cream for that🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Tinywhisper11 well apparently some people worry about moon burn
@Tinywhisper11
500 bottles, what are they miniatures? 🤣💕
@Amanda84 yep! They should just give me a bucket full and a straw😂😂
@Tinywhisper11
Or a trough 🤔💜
@Amanda84 did you just call me a pig!???😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Tinywhisper11
Not exactly but a trough would provide plenty of hydration 😁
@Amanda84 it would😂😂😂😂
@amiablePeace77
I think I need something heavier that water in order to lubricate my joints. Motor oil maybe? 😂
I gave up soda/pop a couple of years ago.
I mainly drink coffee, water, and an occasional blackberry tea. (peach and strawberry are good as well)
I drink a lot of tea all the time, and it expands to iced tea in the summer. I cut out pop a long time ago, and only have it on a rare, special occasion. Surprisingly, it tastes amazing when you don’t have it for six months.
I can drink a lot of water, too, just in general, but I prefer hot tea, even if it is hot. And I stay the heck away from the sun. It has been so hot recently that I just cannot even bear to be outside.
@thoughtfulmomma
I quite agree with you about staying out of the sun, especially around lunch time. I enjoy it in the early morning late afternoon when it's not so hot. Tea, especially green tea or herbal teas (actually infusions) are a great addition to drinking water because of their higher levels of flavonoids which can support heart and brain health.
@amiablePeace77
Hi, Ami,
I almost always drink iced tea. I know that I need to drink more water though.
@purpleTree4652
Iced tea (I assume homemade without sugar?) is definitely a nice choice especially with a little lemon juice in it. To monitor your water intake, it can help to fill the water you need to drink per day in jars in the morning, so you know that if water is left at night, you haven't drunk enough.
@amiablePeace77
yes, homemade, but I use stevia and lemon juice. :)
A doctor told me that for every glass of tea you drink, you need to drink 1.5 glasses of water because tea dehydrates you.
@purpleTree4652
I honestly don't know what that means.
@amiablePeace77
How are you making sure that you stay hydrated?
I drink fluids at every meal and when I think I am hungry I drink fluids because that often is what the body is calling for. It does not hurt to drink a little fluid.
@soulsings
I so agree with you about drinking water first before getting a snack! Many times, I did not need to snack anymore after having had a glass of water.
@amiablePeace77 also the stomach signal for water and food needs is very similar.
@amiablePeace77
How are you making sure that you stay hydrated?
Staying out of the sun, consuming water as well as self made fruit shakes throughout the day since I wake up in the morning.
Drinking enough water and consuming fruit juices.
