What was one of the wisest decisions you've made in your life?
Moving to a different country. Leaving my awful excuse of a life behind.

Joining 7cups since volunteering here has changed my life and brought a lot of positive into it apart from helping me as well.

Definitely education bachelor of science In nutrition degree changed my adult life. It was the reason I met my hubby and as well my career in life as well as financial stability. 💕💕💕🙌🙌🙌

One of the wisest decisions I have made was to seek a new Therapist. Now I have my first Trauma therapist, who is helping me more than I have ever been before.😊

Hi again, Soulsings! You wrote "decisionS" in the plural. Wondering if any big decisions one makes are actually based on wisdom. Those decisions are not necessarily the hardest to make. Only in time does one know if those decisions were the right ones. If "right", then "wise"? It's a matter of outcome.

Some decisions can be right short term but not long term. To me it needs multiple factors to make a wise decision which shows beneficial long term.

In that case, I was lucky with some decisions: My stockbroker is one and moving out of France was another. Marrying my late husband was also, even if that was a leap of faith rather...
@Fradiga I agree what we think might be a good decision in the near term might have terrible consequences in the long term.
Well, I just realized that it's only the bad decisions that are cemented in my mind. I vaguely know that I've achieved some stuff, but I can't picture it. On the other hand, I vividly remember even the smallest mishap -- starting all the way back in the 2nd grade.

@soulsings The wisest decision I made was to truly discern what self care looked for me, by me, and for me. This meant time in my own company. Time cleaning out my thoughts and the opinions of the world. Time cleaning out my environment inside and outside of this magical vessel we know as body. I got to know my inner child, my shadow self, my many alter egos, my authentic self, my emotions, my thoughts, my feelings and sensations, my magic, all through finally consenting to self. I get to connect with nature and the skies at my own pace. I get to sit under the sun and moon, stars and ancestors. I get to be free and love my body for every part of it. I get to transform my body, also. My words have transformed. My holding onto hope is forever more sustained. And my chance at a fuller life from the beginning stages of truly loving myself is still unfolding. I do still get visited by the occasional intrusive thoughts and pains of metamorphosis, integrating inner child and adult self, and becoming my best self in the dance between Divinity and me. And that's why I'm here on this platform, to allow myself the space to recognize that I truly am not alone in this journey. Anyhow, love ya for asking this lovely question !!! <3
