@amiablePeace77 What is anything you learned from someone that turned out to be really beneficial to you?
Stop and smell the roses. I often spent a lot of time trying hard to achieve goals and being present in this moment was a difficult challenge for me.
@soulsings love that <3
@BlueDarkAurora thank you!
When you get a no or get dissapointed, think of a limit, like 20 no's away from your goal. another rejection, then is 19 to go. It helps me get through anxiety daily. I think I am 10 scares away from feeling strong. It might be more than 10, but by then, I would have lost count and maybe by 7 away I would feel at least a bit more strong than when I started.
@stefanianavarro
I am glad that you found something to get you through your daily anxiety! I would like to share with you this exercise to help with anxiety

@stefanianavarro that is the technique I learned in sales.

From someone I learned not to say “I can’t” before I tried, put in any or all of my effort and gave it absolutely all I had in me in it.
Now I pass that lesson and every other lesson I learned from others or from my own self or my own experiences in my life. They’re too valuable not to pass forward onto others as others did to me when I was just a little child.
@amiablePeace77
I have learned that I am who I am whether people like me or not it was a hard lesson to learn.
@WorkingitThrough2
Hii, can you explain what that means? I still don't quite get it
@pinkKite8784
I was trying to convey that people tend to pre-judge me by my words or appearance without ever getting to know me. It used to upset me because I wanted to fit in and not stick out like a sore thumb.
They tried to thrust on me what they wanted me to be in order to receive their acceptance. I tried but my best was not good enough. The lesson I learned was to be myself no matter what others think or expect.
@WorkingitThrough2
Thank you for explaining
@amiablePeace77
"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first."
-Jesus
I learned that no matter how kind-hearted you are, there will still be people who hate you, just like how Jesus was hated by people despite being incredibly compassionate. And honestly, I think it's okay to be disliked.
There's 2 reasons why people might dislike you. One is because you've wronged them, if that is the case, then you're the one who has to apologize. But, if people dislike you even though you are a good person, then they're the problem and there's nothing wrong with you.
Yes, It feels awful to be disliked, but sometimes we just can't do anything to make some people like us. And the quicker you accept that fact, the easier your life will become.
And don't focus too much on the people who hate you. Remember that there are people who love and support you, that is your loved ones. Give your time and attention to your loved ones, don't pay attention to the people who dislike you.
I hope this helps someone. Please let me know if this has helped you. I'll be happy if this helps at least one person. Take care y'all

Thank you for this post! I really like what you said! "Remember that there are people who love and support you, that is your loved ones. Give your time and attention to your loved ones, don't pay attention to the people who dislike you."
Focusing on those who appreciates us supports our well-being!
@amiablePeace77
Glad that you liked my post! Have a nice day 😊
I use to try to please people and do what ever they wanted me to do for the most part. Then knowing I did not really want to do what I said yes to made me feel bad. I was not Blessed by doing something that I should have let my no be no even if they felt I was being mean.
I woke up, I am not going to change my identity to please others no matter if I have to be alone. It took me a long time to come to this conclusion.
@WorkingitThrough2
You made great progress! 👍
@amiablePeace77
I wish I could see it or feel it❤️

"Normal is just a bunch of weird people acting alike."
Having lived in dozens of different cities, this point really stuck out to me. What is normal in one place or in one circle of people is not considered normal in other places. Our comfort zones can become blurred when we don't realize that we're not the ones who are changing, we're simply moving in a large crowd. Don't forget to be yourself or you'll get lost.
@FirmWind
You have learned something precious - Don't forget to be yourself!
I agree with you about "What is normal" is about interpretation!
@FirmWind To me we all have our own interpretation of what is normal to us and that maybe different to someone else's normal.
