As a globetrotter, I have family and friends in several countries and a lot of them would have faded away if it was not for social handles and group chats, which, on top of being handy, are free too.
I used to have a ton of hand-written correspondence, and eventually typing on mechanical, then electrical type-writers. My mother in particular was someone I wrote to often, and when I cleaned out her home, I discovered that she had kept everything.
I am not particularly grateful for it, however. It would have been normal, at my age, that many would have faded away and there would be less and less social duties of this kind, but hey...

I get to see life updates of people I'm not longer in proximity to. I can check in on them whenever I need to.
What are you particularly grateful for?
I'm grateful for the accessibility and ease of using the interface.
@trueconfidant123 IO use the internet to stay connected also.
One of the most important things I am grateful for that technology offers me are ways to stay in contact with friends abroad.

@soulsings without technology and this site, I wouldn't have found my voice, I wouldn't have friends 💖 I'm so grateful for 7 cups 💗 also I have Amazon music on my tablet computer thingy, I constantly listen to music so I'm grateful for that. Also my carers help show me things so I can learn and explore about this world. I wouldn't have learnt half the stuff I know now without technology💖

I am grateful for this great blessing. I have learned and studied a lot... I have met people from all over the world, understood small details about countries around the world, and found solutions to problems I am facing... and I have started to meet wonderful people here at 7 Cups. 7️⃣☕☕☕☕☕☕☕

Technology has enhanced my life in the fact that it has made it easier for me to speak to friends and family around the world, helped me have the ability to work from home, helped me be able to have the ability to be on here and speak with people whither it's for me to speak or for me to listen. Technology has made it also easier for me to be able to return to college after years of being a way while having a young child. I am grateful for all of that but on another side of that I miss the in person relationships that I use to have.
@Jeni3 I hear you. I think technology connections are replacing in-person connections. I think many people miss that face to face contact.

Recently, technology has enhanced my life by allowing me to connect with people that I love to but can’t see as often bc of how far we live from each other or bc life just gets in the way by being too busy to give us time to connect with each other. It’s enhanced my connections by keeping them and letting me connect with others daily. If it wasn’t for the technology we have, I honestly don’t know if these connections I’m talking about would be kept right now. It’s also enhancing my life and my connections by letting me make new friends and connections here on this beautiful online community.
- What are you particularly grateful for?
I’m grateful for everything technology has given us - allowing us to meet people or connect with those who you cannot meet up with in person. That’s the biggest blessing technology has given us that I’m grateful for.

Some technology has made life easier. I design balconies, awnings, and handrailing's. Everything is done on a computer. I couldn't imagine having to draw everything by hand again.
As for connections, too much of anything can be a bad thing. My ex-wife would text me while we sat on the same couch. Too many people have stopped communicating face to face. Visiting family members has become a thing of the past. They simply message each other.
I am beyond grateful for some technology, such as 7 Cups and other support sites. The ability to reach so many people is amazing and definitely beneficial to so many.
I'm afraid too many are in need of a detox from technology, myself included. We are not machines.
@courageouspanda2006 sounds like you have lots of applications for technology.
Being able to listen whatever kind of music whenever and wherever.
I swear that headphones are humanity's best invention.
@AxlMega headphones certainly give us a private space to listen.
