I have a pair of super comfortable slippers which I wear in the house. Outside I love the old fashioned birkenstock shoes, so comfy!
@amiablePeace77 slippers in the house is good for me too unless temperature is high when I wear flip flops around the house.

I hear you. You don't want to wear something that makes you feel warm! The slippers I have keep me quite cool though but sometimes I just walk barefoot.

@soulsings My favorite pair of shoes that I have are a pair of Haviana's flip flops my best friend brought me home from Brazil over 5 years ago! I wear them everywhere in the summer and they are still holding up 😅 I definitely need to get new ones though because these definitely look worn down!

I like to wear swimming shoes around the house and in the pool. They feel so good to my feet while I work in them.

They are extremely comfortable, maybe because they stretch to the contour of your feet.🤷♀️
I only have 1-pair of shoes, the other 2 pairs are busted and one is extremely unwearable because it has a hole but...
Back when I used to have shoes, I really liked my red, white & black classic Nike sneakers for just casual walking. I also had a favourite pair of red Adidas for running/exercise. I was a weightlifter & runner a few years back. Ah, and I LOVE wearing boots, combat, cowboy, biker, work boots, and low-cut "mariachi" boots -- I guess if you want to call them that? Idk, it's a traditional style boots you'd find in Mexico. Those are probably my favourite type of boots with biker boots coming a close second.
I had some really comfortable sandals too back in the day, and some decorative types, wedges and flat sandals.
So... I guess I don't really have a pair of favourite shoes at the moment lol. I also don't wear any type of shoes in the house. Just socks. But slippers and sandals sound like a good idea. I'll get them once I have my own house. I am at a relatives house, it's really...dirty here full of dirt, since my brothers work hard labour type of jobs but don't clean the house(I do...and I'm tired of doing so all the time ...).

I loved those "mariachi" boots when I was younger, they were quite comfortable. Are you still doing weightlifting/running or any other exercise?

My favorite shoes are fictional ones. They are the ruby slippers Dorothy wore in the story *The Wizard of Of Oz*. I love them best coz they help a determined girl trying to overcome difficult tasks to go back home.

Right now a New Balance sneaker. This is the most comfortable for everyday use. If I am not wearing something comfy my back starts to be painful. (Arthritis) It is very difficult to find a good one. I also like Sketchers. Sometimes I try to buy 2 pair if its worthy. By the way I am addicted to shoes. Haha 😀😀😀

I have the most beautiful boots that have lasted me already 10 years. I'm pretty convinced this will be their last winter and I cannot cope with it. Any pair I tried to buy to replace them just look so "normal" and nothing special in comparison, it feels as if those pair of boots were part of my personality!
@WhenTheTimeComes I have favorite shoes that really are on their last legs (pun intended) but I give the soles and heal new life for a while longer with a product call Shoe Goo that is gooey so be careful applying and set shoes carefully so not run in 24 hour drying period. It fills in holes in sole or heel and can also be used to make the shoe sole or heel thicker. Try on a less fav pair of shoes till you get the hang of it. Sometimes I have to put tape on the shoe to form a mold to hold shoe goo.

Wow this is genuinely an amazing tip you gave me here. I tried various forms of glue to hold the sole together but exactly because there is some holes it's almost no longer working.
I will definitely try that because those shoes are just too unique to disappear !

I've spent most of my years in Mary Janes, Flats and Pumps since I was a school student and now the heels that I'm most comfortable with for attending events are wedges, I kinda feel safe wearing them and, for regular use I use sneakers.
