Stuffies are a great comfort to me as well. I know sometimes that it can be hard to deal with our families but I hope you all can work things out. Finding a job can be hard work. Is there any certain type of work that you are interested in?

@WorkingitThrough2 due to our body only being 15, im ztuck with either chick-fil-a or an ice cream place (braumz) but im alzo going to make and zell ztuff online

1) What is your favourite comfort item?
Probably my home...mostly my couch or bed, but I've died a million times trying to make it nice and to keep a roof over my head. It's a luxury many can't afford. But also my body...it brings me much comfort in many different ways...from sleeping in fresh sheets to movie nights, and a good cup of coffee or hair day, it is very comforting to dwell in such a uniquely evolved adaptation.
2) What are your biggest worries regarding 2024?
Most likely my relationships.
3) What are you looking forward to in 2024?
I suppose the learning and growth that might come from it.

I love your description of how it is to be in a body. I think this view would be very helpful for a lot of people. I wish you strength and patience in your relationships and that you can grow and evolve even further next year.

Hello. My favorite comfort item is probably my blanket. I feel safe and much better when I can hide under it, especially if I'm upset.
My biggest worry for 2024 is not being sure where I'll be staying. The last month I broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years, and this month I have been with someone new. He wants me to stay with him, but I'm not sure if I would prefer to stay with my family and sister. It's a lot to think about and causes a lot of stress. I'm also not sure what I'll be doing for work once I finish teaching where I am. I hope to continue teaching, but I'll need to get new certifications regardless of where I move to.
I am looking forward to continuing my time teaching. I have enjoyed my time living on my own in a different country teaching. I want to work on becoming a more confident person, and this opportunity has helped with that a lot. I look forward to spending time with people when I get back home in June as well.

A comfy blanket sounds good. I understand that you're currently in a very uncertain situation with a lot of changes. I completely understand that this can feel overwhelming. I hope you find solutions that work well for you and that you can continue teaching.

@underapinetree thankyou for being a teacher ❤ it's a very honourable job, and your making a huge difference to many children/young people. I hope you can continue that too ❤ and yes that is a very tough choice *cough* choose family *cough cough* 😁

I don't know, I don't really have any.
2) What are your biggest worries regarding 2024 ?
That I will lose disability rights or will be in financial ruin in general
3) What are you looking forward to in 2024 ?
I'm finally leaving on my own and I'm excited I can finally start thinking for myself. This year is gonna be the year of us (I'm a did system) going out more. Gonna try picking up hobbies I've always wanted to but wasn't allowed or was too depressed to follow.
So that might be really fun.

I hope that you don't lose your disability and that being able to do some crafts sounds like fun. I am glad that you are looking forward to getting out on you own/ Big plans for the New year😊❤️.May you get all of your heart's desires.
@Costati that does sound fun, new adventures, exploring your creative side, and interests. I hope you have lots of fun ❤ when the check time comes to be assessed for disability benefits, it's always scary and nerve wracking. Just be yourself ❤ I wish you good luck ❤

favorite comfort item all my squishmallows and blankets love all them and make nests blankets squishmallows lay in helps me feel better and take squishmallow with me everywhere

1) What is your favourite comfort item? (British spelling :)
I do not have just one favorite item. I love items that help me feel hugged. Either real hug - person to person! - or person to animal-living! - or... sometimes I have to be satiated with only hug 'from' a pillow or stuffed animal or heap of clothes. When I was a little kid, my mom tells me, I would go search through the laundry and pull out my vest to wear again or wear now! This is me at age about 3 or 4. But looking back on it, I do still like wearing vests and I think it is partly because I like the feeling of being tucked in or being hugged.
I also have a smaller comfort item. It is a beanie baby by Ty - their dachshund. He belonged to a friend of mine and lived at her office. When she was retiring and therefore leaving the office, she gave the toy dog to me. He had already been on previous excursions out of her office with me (to other appointments or meetings that I was maybe dreading); so she offered for the dog to be mine. It is a good thing overall and a good memory of my time with that friend too.

I am way too adept at worrying. I will skip this question.

Yeah, I learned British English in school and American English on 7 Cups and social media so, I'm doing a mix, I guess. 😅
Being hugged or having some kind of compression otherwise can be great! Do you have a weighted blanket? I love that for this reason.

Do you know, is 'audienta' a full word in another language? It is so very similar to 'audience' in English and I keep remembering the spelling of your name here incorrectly! arg. Sure, you can call me audi - as long as you don't confuse me with a car... ;) I created the name in connection to the Latin word for listener which is audientis. *hugs back*

3) What are you looking forward to in 2024? In the same breath, my impending major surgery, because by this time 2025 I might be pain free

@Tinywhisper11 thank you. And my goose is yet to be named, do u want to name him? There is a race I want to run this fall, I probably won't be able to. My boyfriend runs it every year and he offered to walk with me but I am determined to run again

@audienta my comfort item is my blankets😁 my pink unicorn blanket (a grown up peoples pink unicorn blanket of course) that blankie stays with me in the wheelchair, to cover up the embarrassing disabled bits.❤ I don't think to far ahead to have any worries 🤔🤔. What I'm looking forward to this year is my new indoor palm tree, my carers gonna go pick up for me at the garden center😁 I'm gonna call him keuana leeves😎 and also looking forward to the summer, so I can sit under the willow tree in the garden and watch the sunrise ❤
