Trust me when I say this -
Feeling nothing is worst than feeling sad
: )
@tryingtohealhaha
absolutely! the only exception i would make is for when the sadness is so painfully soul-crushing that it leads to suicide plans or self-harm.
@determinedSea4370 Numbness can do that too
WHen I unexpectedly passed a certification exam, I felt empty and I didn't make an announcement, it was my coworkers who asked me how it went that day and I shyly smiled. I feel since that day, I started feeling jaded but I make sure to learn or do something new every shift
I wasnt a gifted kid but lately I been thinking maybe I crave academic validation over a new relationship: Knowledge is power
Sad but true
Feeling nothing is just so... well, you don't feel nothing, because there's nothing to feel. How's that for a paradox? How can you feel what's not there? Feeling nothing is about as confusing as that thought. Feeling disconnected from everything leaves this sense of incompleteness. I'd definitely rather feel sad because at least then I know I'm still feeling something.
