Caring deeply but learning not to lose myself🦋
Sometimes, we meet someone whose presence brings light into our lives. And without realizing it, we start making them our entire sky — even when we promised ourselves not to. I care deeply, but I’m also learning to hold on to myself. My feelings are real, but so is my worth. I just needed to write this somewhere — to remind myself that I matter too. 💙
@SafeSoulTalk Yes, you matter too and so do your feelings. It’s brave to be able to remind yourself of that! 🌞
Yes, your autonomy is important.
Keep doing things that make you happy ☀️
Reminds me of something of my own life too thanks for sharing this it actually does reminds me something hurtful still a lesson.
And u matter u always will u r the only one who was always there with u yea u matter no matter what✨🌷
Absolutely, emotions, feelings, and our true selves are essential. A wise friend once shared with me that while it can be comforting to embrace others, it's equally essential to take a moment to embrace ourselves. Sometimes we can lose ourselves in supporting others, but the real challenge—and the greatest reward—comes from being present with ourselves. Remember, embracing who we are allows us to grow and connect more deeply with those around us. So let's celebrate our journey in moments of connection with others and in the quiet moments of self-acceptance! You've got this!
@SafeSoulTalk thank you for this much needed reminder. We must remain connected to our true voice. If someone (including ones we love) is hijacking it for us then we have to do whatever is needed to be ourselves again. I'm facing it too currently with a couple of people in my life and finding skills to dont give them so much power that I lose myself.
@SafeSoulTalk you really have a beautiful way with words 🥰💜

I needed this...! For, I fear losing my newfound self for someone else's fanciful dream of the past. We can walk backwards, sure, but we were meant to move forward.
This struck me more than I expected. I never anticipated my life unfolding like this, but to deny it would feel like crushing a flower before it blooms. I'm not exactly sure what to do with these feelings, but my actions will be kind and loving. I believe I can show the past what the future could look like.
I completely understand what you mean.
