Someone to talk too…please.
Hiya. I’m Aurelie and I’m new here. I’m feeling really lonely and isolated at the moment. I recently had to leave university after breaking my leg quite badly, so I’m back home where I don’t really belong anymore. I’d love to be able to talk to new people if there’s anyone out there that has time ❤️
@Aurelie298
Aw hey hey Aurelie, welcome to the community. Is it you in the profile picture? That looks like a major accident. 🥺 How's you holding up?❤
Being hurt so terribly, having to leave university and going to a place where you don't feel like you belong seems like a lot to deal with, understandable to feel lonely, isolated and overwhelmed with everything.
I am so proud of you for trying to connect with compassionate people, and yess, there's a lot of ways for you to seek some kind company and support here.

Hey there Aurelie. How are you doing in this new week? I'm dealing with leg problems myself, can't drive, and I'm homebound. It can definitely get lonely. It makes me feel isolated. It always helps me when reach out just like you did. Don't forget that update, if you have the time. Ha. I'm sorry you are going through this. Danny
When I go out to the store or just go out in general people calling me names and teasing me because of what I wear
I am so sorry you having that experience. No one likes to be teased and called names.
It's lonely for me because of other people calling me names and teasing me because of what I wear so I stay in a lot so I don't have to listen to them calling me names
@toughFan5881
Hello Fan. I'm sorry you feel people are being unkind. I feel that way sometimes too. I try to say to myself, well, well, well, I guess that person must really be having a bad day. Sometimes it helps me to feel that way. 🤔 And for you, one big ole quackin duck hug. 🫂 Sorry I couldn’t help myself.😄
Do you know what pom pom socks are
@toughFan5881 awwh yep theyre so cute! :)
Did you wear them
Did you wear them
Yes, I do. What does that mean to you?
Did you wear them
Hi, I’m always available to chat if you want someone to listen to you I’m always here and I’m more than willing to help
Thank you for being open and willing to listen.
@Aurelie298 I'll be more than happy to talk to you
@Aurelie298 hey. I would love to talk to you and be a friend in a lonely time for you. I as well feel out of place in my own home, so we can connect right there. everything will work out okay eventually. :)
Hello I dealt with a broken patella bone for about the second half of my senior year in highschool. I had to miss end of the year trips and I could not play sports and i had to stay home and do online learning and was hybrid for awhile. I went to school in a wheel chair for a short period of time then had to to rehabilitate my legs after not moving or walking for awhile and had to be on crutches for a balance concern. Breaking a bone in your leg can be so life altering and I know it probably prevented me from making multiple friends at this point and has affected my earnings as far as work because I could not drive for a bit and I didn't work like I wanted to over the summer before college even because of the on going pain and trying to do physical therapy exstercises to get my leg back in shape. And I still am limited mobility about a year and half later they said the pain could linger for a long time and if you don't keep up with the psycical therapy exstercises then you will hult progress it's been a journey and a learning exspirence for me for sure it's more complicated then people think and it can affect emotions and relationships along the way. I now recognize alot of things that could of helped me get through it better. I am new to this site but I'm a first year second semester uni student now in the US psychology major .feel free to friend me if that's how this works.

@courteousCurrent2969 that's a lot. I have yet to break a bone, but watching my parents break bones and have a hard time healing has shown me now not only physically draining it is, but its also very mentally draining too. I'm glad you are okay now, but im sorry for having to miss out on end of year SENIOR things. I'm a Jr, so I'm super excited for my end of year senior stuff.
I think that it, despite being hard, it was a "good" experience for you. hard things just make us better human beings, and we come out SO STRONG in the end. it was difficult but I'm sure you have developed in so many ways that had that not happened, you still would not have those newly gained attributes or outlooks on life/things yk?
@Aurelie298 ouchie! Sorry about your leg ❤ how come you don't feel welcome at home?? I'm Lola ❤ it's nice to meet you ❤ I'm sure you'll fit right in here and make many friends ❤❤ gives you a giant tiny hug ❤
