@Leihua90 i'm sorry for ur loss.
But never think u will never be happy again.
Think of this, ur mom must be want to see u achieve the best in life. Try to be happy, to show ur love to her. Show the world what she had taught u.
Be strong, never lose hope and never give up.
Sending hugs for u.
@Leihua90 I'm so so sad to hear about your mother. I understand the pain. My mother died almost 2 years ago. It's so hard! Please know that you're so valuable. Please also know you're not alone. I didn't know your mother and I don't know you, but I can't help but think she would want you to keep going on and growing. The pain hasn't gone away for me but it has softened. I know you can't imagine that now. And that's ok because what has happened hurts! Hurts a lot!! I think the fact you came onto 7cups and write this post shows you are stronger than you think!! I hope you can find a counselor to talk to? Or a good friend? You are not alone! I'm praying for you and your family during this horrible time. Here is a HUG!!!! Please don't give up on life. You are seriously the only you!!! You are so valuable and needed. If you want to talk, I'm around! And so are a lot of very good listeners!
It is. Sometimes the perceptions that you may have of things are not always the right ones.
Is a table still a table, even when people dont see it as a table? ;)
Definitely.
A problem is still a problem regardless of running away or ignoring it. In fact, that is one of the worst things you can do about it.
The best thing you can do is confront it and solve it once and for all. Otherwise, it will come back eventually and bite you in the back when you least expect it.
Yes, you can have what is called 'poor insight' and think that everyone else has the problem and not you. This is especially common in disorders such as schizophrenia.
Or in my family, being overweight is the norm and it can lead to a form of denial. "I am not overweight" and yet the extra weight is still putting strain on all your organs and making you prone to pre-diabetes and diabetes.
I'ts usually even a worse problem when you won't or can't admit to having one. No matter how big or small!!!
It's still a problem. No matter what happens a problem doesn't go away because you don't think about it. Just like a rotton potate in a bag of potatoes it's still there waiting to ruin a good entree.
If we don't take a problem to be a problem then we look for solutions because with positive acceptance comes vision and insight and that makes all the difference !!!!!!!!
Yes... It can be a problem...
Because not everyone sees the mistakes they make when learning English the first time... So someone else might think it's a problem even if we don't.
But... that's just what I think.
Anything can be a challenge to me or not. Every day, it is less important to me to assign blame to others for the conditions than I live in. I have endured situations beyond my control and they have shaped and molded me. I have made choices that led to here and I accept my responsibility for my words and actions.
But I have an incredible power that prevents anything from defeating me. I have the power of reaction or non-reaction. I can choose to get in an argument or remain out of it. I have never won an argument and never felt better because of an argument. That does not condone what I am not reacting to, it is empowering me to live my life now to the best of my ability. Yes I have the power to meet any challenge and not be handicapped by it. I have the power to not react to conditions, people, and things beyond my power to control.
@soulsings i really needed this. Thank you
