Harro everyone~! OwO I started using 7 cups of tea back in 2019-2020 I think? So around 5-6 years ago...? but I stopped being active for some time cause life got a lot hetic than I expected.
I found myself coming back here, for some reason I just felt I never felt judged here and I don't want to stress my friends even more venting my own struggles and issues, and I don't want to seek external validation or be reassured a lot from my friends because I know it can be tiring if it's constantly.
I find myself always thinking of this place when things get really bad in my life and I kinda have no where to go to where I would feel heard, so decided to come back and wow, a lot of things has changed compared to 5 years ago, especially the UI of this site xD
For the most part I hope I can feel heard and feel safe without being judged, but I also want to continue improving myself as an individual.
Goals for being part of the community hmmm I guess in a way like a journal entry thing? but with also with people who know where you come from and empathize with you, but also give advice when needed, so like a journal entry but penpal feature into it kinda..? and if I relate to them too I will also relate to others as well without projecting too much, and rather hear their side of the story? idk if that's making any sense LOL

I hope to gain more experience and offer my heart and soul through care and a kind ear to those that need it. I aspire to be a clinical psychologist one day. I hope that the opportunity to be a listener will align with that journey and encourage me towards that goal.

Wanting to help people and focusing on active listening is a skill that makes such a difference, both in close relationships and when you're just being that safe space for someone who needs it. You’re in a great place to grow that. What kind of books do you gravitate toward, and do you do a specific event in track and field, or just enjoy it all?

Thank you for the warm welcome 😊 I read mostly YA, and any genres except horror and thrillers, but my favourite is definitely fantasy. As for track, I like long jump best, but short distance running is also really fun.
