Hello everyone! I am Lea from Scotland and I just joined today. I look forward to finding my way around and getting to know you all. I am a late diagnosed neurodivergent cat lady, foster carer and have experience as a student mental health nurse. Following a period of autistic burnout this year followed by diagnosis, I reflected on what fits me best going forward and sadly it is not the chaos of being a mental health nurse. Next month I begin a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I love psychology, crafts, animals, nature, politics, critical theory and more. I’m a mixed bag 😊 Glad to be here!

@Heather225 1: to see if anyone might be going through something similar to me with controlling emotions and maintaining close friends. 2: i hope i would either find answers or the right direction to improve of myself as a person by taking adult responsibilities and talk about serious topics without my emotions get in the way. 3: my goal is to accept the help and options given to me without thinking they're just sorry for me. i know i need help but i don't know why i can't accept it without feeling sad or upset.

Hello everyone I'm Seraphine, I joined back in April and had to take a step back due to chronic illness stuff but I am so happy to be back. I am loving the education resources and the connections I've made so far since being back for about a week, but I will admit I am still a little intimidated by the forums and group discussions, Im still getting the hang of navigating all of the features on this site. But that will most definately improve with time.
