Take small phone breaks to ease into it. Many phones now let you put time constraints on apps you use the most, so make use of this feature. You can set a specific amount of time you use the app for every day, such as 1 hour or 2 hours. After that, it will alert you that you reached this limit. Aside from these individual app limits, try to physically be away from your phone. You are less likely to reach for it if it's in a different room or more than arm's length away from you. Try putting it away from you!
