Instead of focusing on them, think about all the qualities you have and ask your friends & family what do they think are your qualities? what makes you who you are? make a list, write it and every time your insecurities come back up, read it

Try to complete little tasks which have a high success rate so you can say "I did it" which in turn will increase your self confidence/trust. This will help to "attack" bigger tasks in future.

Getting a good base group of friends that you trust and can talk to about anything will certainly help. But try to think of one positive thing about your self every day when you wake up and just repeat that thing to yourself throughout the day, it'll help to build your confidence and self-worth - in turn it will help you to cope with your insecurities

Instead of focusing on what you do not like about yourself stand in the mirror and list everything you love about yourself. This may be difficult but after trying it everyday for a long while you may notice things you love that you didn't notice before.

First understand that everyone has them. It is easy to feel frustrated with life and your goals and compare yourself to others. It is easy to give up and give in to beating yourself up. Don't. Pick yourself up and start where you are. Don't give way to rumination. Decide to be your personal best. Practice gratitude and do something for someone else. Make a commitment to yourself to love yourself unconditionally. Then take a look around and see if there is anything you can improve. Make a plan for today and then for the future. It helps to practice mindfulness - to ground you in the here and now. Above all, don't forget to laugh!
