One of the things I really admire about my mother is her ability to adapt and grow. She is not the same person that she was when I was younger. She has done a lot of work within herself, to better herself, and has done her best to forgive and mend broken relationships. It has been a wonderful thing, to see her walk through that process.

I hope your mom can feel the love
My mother has a good intuition, she can often feel what us kids are thinking or worried about. Although she doesn't always talk to us directly about what she has sensed, but we can tell she can see through us at times. There is this saying in Chinese, that kids are like a worm from their mother's tummy. Since we were once a part of them, our mothers are able to sense when there's something off with us.

@Jaeteuk What a wise thing, i love that you shared that about your mother. Sometimes moms are good at knowing things without using words.
Oh, and I like that Chinese saying! I agree, i think mothers and their children will always be connected in some way.

one thing that i admire about my mother is her ability to perservere regardless of the difficulty of any situation that she is in. also, my mother is a leader by example, she lives her life to show others a positive path of life.

I miss my mother so much. I lost her in the summer of 2022. She was my best friend, my confidante. She knew me and understood me like no other person. I miss her bright smile, her love - not for who She thinks I should be - but just for who I am.. her daughter.. her affection, her positive attitude even in the face of a terminal disease, and her love for her family. Ma wherever you are I love you and I miss you. Every. Single. Day.
@turqoiseOrange7980 l am very sorry for the loss of your mother. It sounds like she was a wonderful role model to you. I hope you can cherish the memories you have with her.
I hope that you give yourself time and space to grieve her loss, whatever that looks like for you. I have learned that grief does not follow a linear pattern, it can hit you at unexpected times, and it does not have a clear timetable.
