I learned the hard way that I need to listen to what my body tells me lol. The body knows!
The many memories I have spinning around in my head make me feel very, very old. A lot of those memories seem to be of things that happened several lifetimes ago.

@amiablePeace77 You've made me think. It's an interesting question. In my mind being an adult means being responsible and always knowing the right thing to do.
I feel like I'm making it up as I go along and in many ways still like a child in that I'm very curious about the things around me.
I realize it's simply my perception, thinking others have everything under control, but I suppose at some level I'm insecure.
Not to mention adults are often boring and I have no desire to be boring. 🙃

When I felt bad in the past, I used to think everyone has their "stuff" under control, but this perception is truly perception and not fact! We all have our struggles but they are not always visible.
@amiablePeace77 I agree wholeheartedly with what you're saying. We don't typically see other people's struggles so we mistakenly assume they don't have any. Human nature I suppose.
It is fun to live childishly from time to time. 🙂
And I'm feeling this so hard right now. I've been literally mad at the fact I'm 49 and this is not the age I feel like I am!! 😅

Up until recently I felt like I was still 21. After this year I feel old and over the hill. But then again, not long ago I was described as a stroppy teenager. So who knows 😏

I feel 90 years old. I feel helpless and hopeless, I can't take it anymore, I can't do anything or finish anything I started. I thought I can finish my MA thesis last year but I still can't finish it till now, and my submission duration will end next month. I thought I can reach to the person I love, but he got married at the end.

When things are really tough, taking care of yourself is so important. What's one small thing you could do right now that might make you feel better?
For the next few weeks, nothing. I have too much to try and do/get done, all while having trouble lifting a bottle of water without dropping it. A lot of simple tasks that my body can’t handle yet I need to get them done soon.
