New Chatroom Mentors

I have my own style for these sorts of things so forgive me for that :)

Hi Emma, it is great to have another New Zealander on the mentor team. For a nation of four million people, 40 million sheep, a large herd of dairy cattle, and a goose named Thomas, we certainly punch above our weight, eh?

And not since our air force's strike arm of Sopwith Camel biplanes flew over the neighbour's paddock back in 2009 has the might of New Zealand been so on show. Fantastic!

Alas, It's been a long time coming but you reached the start of a new journey. Well done :)

Congratulations blitheSun94. I've seen you providing resources in the support forums and I've seen you oat and aboat around the listener forums also. You have always struck me as being the type that has a heady sort of maturity about you that always oriented my thoughts towards considering that you would be a mentor some day. Alas, it arrived. So well done! :)

So what can I say about EtaAlpha? What can I not say about EtaAlpha. She's a mentor that I respect a great deal through her consistency as much as anything. Consistency of support for the members. Consistency of care for others. Consistency in doing the little things around here in an understated way that provide overstated results. I only hope this doesn't mean that you'll disappear from the forums though. Congratulations! :)

You will likely dislike me for saying this but seeing your name come through is a sign of another oldie in 7Cups terms coming through. You took a break for a while but it is good for you to come back and to provide a little bit of yourself in the forums. You're a writer so how could you not?

It was fantastic to see your name through as a new forum mentor today. You're a fantastic leader even if you do not always push yourself forward as so and I know that you have an awful lot of respect around the mentor community. And so you should, you deserve that respect. You are an amazing influence in the listener community. I hope you know that and it is fantastic that you're taking up support of ADD/ADHD. Congratulations fix!

The group supporter extraordinaire, PM229. We've spoken briefly a handful of times in the past and I've seen you in the rooms as well. We're not too well acquainted but you are a really mature influence in the rooms. And furthermore, you have that respect from other listeners in which they come to you with concerns and queries. That doesn't come with a badge. It only comes from respect from the community. Welcome and thank you for taking up Managing Relationships :)

Now simply because you've chosen to take up two mentor tracks does not mean that I will write only once. Oh no, siree. I see that you've taken on BPD as forum mentor. Until a couple of months ago, I didn't know what BPD was and, if I was honest, I'm still a little sketchy on its meaning. I look forward to following that forum section with you at the helm. Congratulations :)

A name that I put forward as a nomination recently was yours so it's good to see you come through. I see that you haven't chosen a category at this point in time which is fine. There is plenty there for you to choose from and if you provide anywhere near the same energy that you do to welcoming, appreciating, supporting, and posting here, you will do great.
