I hope you are all doing well<3 Making a post to say I've finally returned home and I'm slowly getting back to stuff. I'm trying to get back on everything but please be patient with me, because I'm handling some irl stuff lately, and I'm doing my best. All in all, finally I'm back in action everywhere hehe. A bit slow, but surely there, and anyone seeing this, poke me anytime hehe! I'm taking both mentees and member chats now.

Hey all! Me going on a short break again:/ Ok not that short, I'm planning to return on 1st October.
This is mainly a break from my roles in the CT, LCT and hosting (in the LLD team). I will be relatively much less active in the TL and the VL team.
I'll continue to be as active as possible in the R&F forum. I'll try to respond to messages at the earliest, but scheduling anything is a big challenge.
Going on a break because...big life change coming...I'm moving out for uni. So when I will be back from the break, I will be on the adult side and I will be in a different country and different time zone.
So, just need a bit of time to handle things in real life, with the shifting and all. But wish me luck, I'll be back soon! *brings cookies and beams for anyone who'd like*

Aww Lav all growing up into an oldie 'officially' :P I get how overwhelming it is at this time with all the planning, moving, executing, starting a new chapter in life etc hehe, so much at once going on, ofcourse sweet Lav needs a break, and I'm super proud of you for recognizing the need and stepping away.

Hey hey everyone!
TL DR- Imma take a break till May
So, I hope you all are doing well. Sadly I'm not, hence this post. I'm announcing a break earlier than I expected and longer than I thought I'd need a break. But due to 3 main reasons I'm taking a long break, reasons being burnout (and mental health), travel and final exams. So I'll explain the boundaries for the break below for clarity, since I am not completely stepping away. So hopefully this'll explain what I'm around for.💜
Activity areas:
💜Overall PM responses may be delayed, but not more than 3 or 4 days.
💜VL team- I'll be active in the VL team, and still can be approached for all queries and concerns. I'll also be doing most of my duties in the team, so my PMs are open for any VL-related help if needed.
💜Sadly for members, I'll be not around for any live chats for the entire duration of my break, I'll post when I'm back and mention it on my bio so you all know. I am still around for exchanging offline messages, but like I said, PM responses may be delayed to 3-4 days.
💜Mentees- I can still respond to PMs (with a delay), live chats are a challenge. A new mentee may still be able to message me but unfortunately no live mock chats possible.
💜For roles- LCT and LLD/LDT and mod (R&F), I will be inactive for the entirety of the break. If I'm able to return earlier I'll PM the leaders.
💜Booking link- Like I said, I'll be unavailable for live chats so the booking form won't be active.
💜Activity in rooms- I might be around now and then in the LSR but I'll try to take time off and focus on offline stuff.
Timeframe- I know it's a super long break but I expect to be back around 20th May, and I am unsure if I'll be able to meet May quotas.

I hope you are all doing well.
I'm now returning from my break. Exams are all done and dusted, and I am active for the foreseeable future, especially for member chats.
In terms of roles, I stepped on a new role, and I'll be active in all existing roles (except R&F hosting). So I'm back in action for LLD/LDT and LCT, and of course the VL team.

If you haven't noticed this already, that's a surprised lol but I've been really really inactive lately. Since the beginning of July, and I've been so slow I am making this post now smh
I'm in India for the summer, and it's a really rough time for me mentally. I expect to return to the UK and be more available here by the end of September. For the time being, I try to open cups time to time to answer PMs, and I'm on a break from all roles, including VL team. I'll be happy to respond to PMs but @ASilentObserver is helping/taking over most of my duties.
My sincerest apologies for the unavailability. My PMs response time is about a week, so I'm really slow in my activity.

Kind of a goodbye note, very long overdue, should've typed and sent this earlier, but I was busy/procrastinating depending on how you look at it.
TLDR- I'm stepping down from all roles, and going to be less active for a few weeks. Once I return, I plan to do member chats and occasionally pop into LSR.
I haven't been very active on 7cups lately, because of a whole bunch of things going on. My mental or physical health hasn't been the best, and exams are coming up. I'm also leaving for home today. Literally everything happening at once.
But I gave it some thought, I don't think I have the capacity to contribute to 7cups in a committed fashion, in terms of roles and responsibilities. I have learnt a lot from this site, and it has been great working with a whole lot of amazing leaders, both in the chatrooms and behind-the-scenes, and in some teams I have been a part of here. Some that I can think of on top of my head are @ASilentObserver (of course!) @rachsxo (you're missed) @Chevy81 @Harsvin @Jenna @SirenofSirenity @InternalAcceptance @AnnaSilverberg @MelodyOfTheOcean @kindheartedLily @CommunityModIris @CommunityModEden
So a huge shoutout to all these awesome people and a few more whom I missed.
I believe in trying to do as much as I can and pushing myself, but on a practical note I have other things in life I need to prioritise, mainly rest and recovery, and of course exams.
I'll keep logging in now and again to check my PMs, but forgive me for delayed responses. I plan to return in a few weeks time and support members, but I will no longer be active in any roles. All listeners and members are welcome to pop into my PMs and say hi anytime they'd like.

I totally understand where you're coming from, life can throw so much at us at once, it's hard to keep all the balls in the air, you know? It's okay to step back. Your well-being comes first, always. Mental and physical health are important, especially during challenging times like exams. You've done an incredible job juggling everything, but sometimes we just need to hit pause and take care of ourselves.
I'm really proud of you for recognizing your limits and making this decision. It takes a lot of courage to step away from commitments, especially when you've put your heart into them. But your health and happiness matter more than anything else, so please don't feel guilty about taking this time for yourself.
I also want to say a massive thank you for all you've done on 7cups. You've been such a positive force in the community, and your contributions haven't gone unnoticed. Those late-night chats, the support you've offered, the kindness you've shown—it's made a real difference to so many people, including me.
And hey, you're not disappearing forever, right? You'll still be around, just taking a breather. I'll definitely miss seeing you around as much, but knowing you'll be back in a few weeks is a huge relief. I'll make sure to pop into your PMs every now and then to say hi and check-in.
Take all the time you need, Lav. Rest up, focus on those exams, and do whatever makes you feel happy and healthy. We'll all be here waiting for your return with open arms.
