My most common dream is being lost in the universe, floating from star to star, often just being in void. It's impossible to find my way back home... I'm always so glad to wake.

One day I hope to complete the dream. To blast off, see it all, and realise that all I wanted all along was to be on Earth, being myself, so I could have the pleasure of such wonderful company. And of course to share what I'd seen.
Each day I feel more myself. By losing myself in those dreams, I appreciate what I have.

Lately my dreams have been wild. I've had a snake bite me, someone shot me in the stomach, my uncle who I have no contact with was doing my hair, I got lost in a castle. These are absolutely weird and I wake up feeling hazed.

@trueconfidant123 What I like to do now is, after a bad dream, stay up 5 minutes, then take a second mini nap. It usually erases the dream. :)

@genericbeing I dream of times when I was truly happy and places I have visited, if I'm having a bad dream, I allow myself time to sit, process and then I reframe the dream with a good memory 💜🥰

@genericbeing i get dark dreams that scare me but i hardly ever remember after waking up. Sometimes my sleep is very deep - im in another world altogether. And when I wake up it takes me some effort to reconnect with my surroundings.....

My scariest dreams aren't the ones filled with traditional horrors, but when they are just bizarre and don't make sense. My sister proudly showing me a music box horribly out of tune? Why would she be proud of something so broken? At least when I am endlessly fighting demons it makes some kind of sense. Things without reason scare me...
I hope you dream more of love. I have fallen in love in dreams, and while upon waking I feel loss, I feel I have gained valuable experience. You deserve love.

My favourite people seem to be the ones most broken. Not to say I don't love those who have had easier lives - they are shining examples of what being can be like. But the broken person who chooses to live and love steals my heart.
Perhaps the reason for the haunting tune my sister cherished was a symbol that the most beautiful tune is sung by the broken that find a way to function.
@cyanessence I agree, when you go through the worst of times and you still see the joy in life and others, there's something so Beautifully transformed by all the imperfection and the ones who suffered the most care the most 💜🥰
