Welcome to Lin's appreciation corner. Each week, I'll show my appreciation to listeners and members who have been a part of my listener journey so far.
Week 1
@DonaldDraper - My wonderful mentor who patiently answer all the questions I had when I first joined. Thank you for guiding me and sharing all the resources. Not sure where I would be without you.
@Skyglider - My listener twin. Your work in helping others in LSR doesn't go unnoticed, and you're a marvelous LSC host. I've always looked up to you and always will. Thank you for all that you do.
@CommunityModElliot - Forever grateful you taught me to host when I was completely new. You helped me out when I messed things up during sessions and encouraged me to keep going. I would not be the well-respected host I am today if it weren't for you. "Thank you" won't ever be enough to express my gratitude. There's so much that you've taught me that I can hope I am putting that knowledge and skills to good use.
@LuLuRings - You're a leader who I look up to and aspire to be. You're a leader who both leads and shows the way. Your sessions are always a treat to attend. Hoping I'll join you and others on LD Host team in the future, there's too much from the discussions I still have to learn before I can host a session. Thank you for putting up with all my random questions.
@ifyouknowtocountcountwithme - I'm so fortunate and grateful to have met you. You're a wonderful friend and incredible on-the-spot host for LSC and SC. Thank you for putting up with me ranting about the chaos that group sessions bring.
Week 7
@Kiwii7 @creativeSoul5974 @MilaTheListener and @Stran1316 - Just 4 of many of the newer hosts for Sharing Circle / Healthy Habits that deserve credit for doing an amazing job in hosting. Thank you for volunteering to help out, your work is much appreciated.
@CommunityModParker - You're professional, approachable, and kind. Someone I know I can count on to back me up in modding if needed. And your response time is impressive, to say the least. Hoping we'll get to work together more often in the future. ^_^ Thank you for all you do for this community and keep up the great work!

Week 8
This is my last week as a GLDD trainee. Over the last 2 months or so, I've learned so much about interacting in group dynamics and took on new leadership roles. Thank you to everyone who supported me on my journey so far, I truly appreciate every single one of you. I apologize to anyone who might feel left out because I didn't get the chance to tag them in this thread, and please know that I'm grateful for your support.
@ASilentObserver - My appreciation for you is long overdue. Thank you for all your support and all that you do around this community. Thank you for the opportunities in leadership you've chosen to give me a chance at. I know others have told you this already, but you're an amazing leader. And I'm sure many others would agree, there's so much more I could go on to write on this. Your work is much appreciated!
@CommunityModAaron - Your ability to multi-task in rooms always amaze me. I know we haven't known each other for that long, but I've seen you supporting members in multiple rooms at once more than a few times. As someone who often struggles to keep up with chat when it gets too fast, I honestly don't know how you do it. Thank you for all you do for this community!
@CommunityModAnne - It's always a pleasure to join you on your shift and help out. You're always so kind, understanding, and responsive. Thank you for putting up with me DMing you updates and questions. I'm glad you find e to be helpful rather than annoying. Thank you for all you do around the community, and I look forward to working with you again in the future!
@listnerlex - We joined 7cups around the same time, not even a week apart. We met each other in one of the group chats shortly after and became friends. We don't always see things eye to eye, but I'm glad we're always supportive of each other. Thank you for being a wonderfully supportive friend. Looking forward to seeing where your listener journey will take you.
@AriadneLove - You are what I would consider a great example of a rising star host. Your consistency and dedication to hosting sessions for the Listener Sharing Circle are greatly appreciated. I know you're still fairly new to hosting and developing your style, but you're doing really well already! Thank you for all that you do, and feel free to reach out to me at any time if you think I could help out.
