tbh im thinking of canceling my personal trainer thing because I need the extra spending money. and I think it would be easier to just encourage myself at home for free
@HopieRemi
Thats understandable!... Sometimes we have to make those choices when it comes down to whats needed the most, and whats more important. (I'm kind of in a similar situation of Having a fitness license to a format I no longer teach at this time, and could use the money back myself). So you have to do whats best for you. You could also take what you have learned in that time with them, and continue to incorporate what you were taught. As well, you are correct, there are plenty of things you can do from the comfort of your home for FREE!
Yes so I ended up freezing it because the buyout fee was too expensive.

Hi. I too am trying to save money on exercising.
So I searched the internet to figure out how.
You might be interested in what I found.
I liked it so much that I made it into an exercise community growth path.
It's designed to save the most money, and make exercise fun, easy, and an automatic habit.
The growth path I made is called...
(click link above to see the path description and steps,
then click "Start Path" to play the growth path)
The trick I found is to add (attach) effective fun moves to activities I already do daily.
Then I am exercising many times a day automatically, as explained in the videos.
The result for me is having a toned body now, getting better sleep, and instant stress reduction when needed.
I've been doing it a long time now and it's been very reliable for me.
I like the approach so much that I made it a growth path for others to play.
I am offering this community growth path as a "guided growth path".
By that I mean, you can ask me questions at any step in the growth path and I will reply as soon as my time allows.
I also would like user feedback on the growth path steps.
My goal is to keep improving the path so it gets better and better over time.
Hope you and others here can take a look at it soon.
@7motivation thanks for sharing 😃
It might come in very handy for someone in need.
Thanks
@HopieRemi you got this.
It took a lockdown for me too to realize that health and fitness is more about following the basics and doing it persistently, than having a gym membership or a trainer.
So, all the best. I hope you achieve your goals as you decide 🙂
Thanks!
@PoliteOcean
My favorite part of November is Thanksgiving! Finally get to celebrate with my family :)
@sunnyWriting4806 I love thanksgiving. do you have any traditions?
🍁This past week went really nice.. and fast!... I spent the week Coming down off my "Birthday High".. and RE-Setting. I stayed on track with meals, meal planning, workouts, and activity & water.
🍂I taught my classes this week, and have been increasing my activity again as I have done in the past. This time of year can go different ways. It can either slow things down, OR.. I can keep up better by staying on top of things. So, I'm making it a point to do a little "Extra" in the way of activity, workouts and goals for myself. That way I'm already ahead for the Holidays and going into the New year ahead! This past week started off pretty mild, BUT.. Ended up becoming REALLY COLD the past few days!... But, I didn't let it stop me. And managed to get out and keep it moving.
🍁Intentions this weekend are to get up early Sat Morning for a ZUMBA Event about an hour away. And its going to be an outdoor event. (And really cold in the morning!) 😨.....But, I'm looking forward to going and having it help keep me on track and get me started for the day ahead~ Then a few errands, and relax after with some good movies👍
ENJOY THE WEEKEND AHEAD~
@PoliteOcean Happy birthday again! I hope that you have a good class tomorrow and stay warm! If you keep grooving you will warm up!
@PoliteOcean
What New Goals do you have, or would you like to set for yourself this month ahead?! What are you plans to work towards them?! walking more.
🍗JUST FOR FUN: What Is Your MOST Favorite Part Of November?!
the change of the weather
@greenYard2803
Walking more is a great goal to put your focus on this month! With the cooler weather, and beautiful fall surroundings, it makes for a great time to get out and about and get in that activity!
Keep us updated, & Let us know how you are doing with your goals and how you are progressing! Thanks for checking in this week and sharing with us!
Hey Everyone, How has your week been for you?
This week has been good. Although it's also been crazy busy.
🌽This is the FIRST CHECK-IN for NOVEMBER!... What are you looking forwards to the MOST this month ahead?!
I'm looking forward to starting a new internship. There are a lot of steps I need to take before I'll be able to engage in counseling others over there but at least I'm starting.
🍂What New Goals do you have, or would you like to set for yourself this month ahead?! What are you plans to work towards them?!
I want to stay on top of my schooling as I have a goal of completing it in one year and finding a job in the field.
🍗JUST FOR FUN: What Is Your MOST Favorite Part Of November?!
I enjoy going out to the Chinese buffet with my daughter on Thanksgiving day - something we haven't done in recent years for various reasons but we're planning to do it this year.
🍁What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?!
For some reason I've been really tired lately. I've been able to push through it most of the time but finally had some time to take a nap yesterday.
🌽What would "YOU" Like to talk about or share with us this week?! WE want to hear from YOU!
I'm thankful that despite everything that's going on I'm in a good place to help others.
@777Bre777
Hey there Bri! Thats great that despite its been "crazy-busy" week for you that its also been a good one!
Thats awesome for you that you are looking forwards to starting your new internship and looking forwards to engaging in your counseling endeavors. Even though it will come with its challenges, I'm sure it will be all so worth it.
I think its great that you want to continue to stay on top of and keep focused on your schooling, and making 'goals' for yourself to do so as you also work towards finding a job in that field. Continue to keep your "eye on the prize"!
I think its cool that you and your daughter have plans to enjoy the Chinese Buffet on Thanksgiving. I can recall doing that one year with my little family when we first moved to a new state. We made it work lol. But who can't resist an amazing Chinese buffet! (How about that Chicken and broccoli)! Yum! We hope that you are able to do that with your daughter and have an amazing time together.
Sorry to hear that you've been feeling tired recently. But its good that you were able to get a nap in for yourself. Those "power-naps" can really do a whole lot of good when needed. And can help keep you refreshed.
And its really nice that you are in a good place for yourself to help others that you feel need it and feeling thankful for it! Sounds like its the perfect time to of the year to be extra thankful for the little things!
Thank you so much for checking in this week to let us know how you are doing and how things are going for you! We appreciate you keeping us up to date on things.
@PoliteOcean
The past week was okay - which is actually good for me.
I have a medical procedure this week, so my immediate goal is to get through that okay.
I don’t know if I will be alone or not for Thanksgiving, but I love the food...
@UberRuminator
Thats great for you that you have considered the past week to be an "okay" one for yourself... And we wish you well on your upcoming medical procedure. And that it goes well for you.
I agree about the Thanksgiving food. I'm not the greatest cook, but to have someone that is can make a world of difference! lol...
Hopefully you will get to enjoy the day and have lots of good food to look forwards to!
We appreciate you taking the time to check-in this week and simply letting us know how you are continuing to do. Please keep us up to date on how your procedure goes for you! Good Luck~
@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday Deysi took me grocery shopping but not for a walk. Tuesday was my birthday. The house manager Leslie forgot it was my birthday. She managed to pick up a cake at the last minute. My roommates didn't even know it was my birthday. My sister sent me a birthday gift box with a few gifts as well as cash. Thursday I had an appointment with my psychiatrist. There were several long silences in out conversation. She is adjusting my anti-depressant meds. I told her my left leg was shaking from stress and she wasn't too concerned about it. I asked for anti-anxiety med to take during the daytime and she didn't go for it. I'm watching psychology videos about 1 hour per day. I recently have been learning about healing my inner child. It's a new concept for me and I don't know if I have the energy to pursue it. For my devotional life I'm studying the book of Zechariah. I hosted the sharing circle several times also. I'm not going to mention cocooning anymore. You can assume it's a part of my regular lifestyle from this point forward.
@Regmo
Hey there Regmo, thats nice that despite your house manager forgetting your birthday, that she was still able to pick you up a cake to celebrate in some small way. What kind of cake did she get for you? How was it?!....Did you tell your roommates that it was your birthday? I know sometimes I prefer some people know, and prefer some to not know at all. It just depends on the person and how I feel. It was great that your sister remembers and that she took the time to send you some gifts (and cash)! Cash is always great. That way you can always put it towards something you might really need or want. What kind of gifts did your Birthday Box hold for you?!......I know that long period of silence (with anyone) can tend to be really awkwards. But possibly even more with healthcare providers. Its good that you are getting med adjustments though if needed. Thats kind of odd that she didn't think you needed medication during the day. I'm not sure what meds you are already on though..... So hopefully the new adjustment will help either way. Thats good that you are taking the time to learn new things through your psych videos. Healing the inner child might help with dealing with alot of past conflicts and traumas. But if you feel that its too much for you to pursue at this time then you should definitely do whatever is best for you. Great job to you on continuing to work on your devotional life and continuing to host in the sharing circle and helping others! I think you are doing a great job at continuing to work on yourself, and trying to improve what you feel is needed in the best ways that you can and are able. Its better than not trying at all, and you are doing great for yourself! We are proud of you Regmo. Continue to keep up the great work that you are focusing on for yourself. And remember that we are here for you. Thanks for checking in and letting us know how you've been doing this past week!
@PoliteOcean
How has your week been for you? my week has been okay, bad in a few parts but the majority has been okay :)
the goals i have are 1. :D remembering i have a water bottle that needs to be filled up multiple times a day. 2. actually drink more water XD 3. remember to fill water bottle as soon as it's empty.
highlights and challenges of this week:
Highlights are, well i have been on cups 3 months today :D and i bought the most adorable plushie XD
challenges: :D idk where to start, maybe just feeling empty was a biggie. 😃
@emotionalTalker2260
Hey there Talker!... Its good that your week has been "okay" for you. Despite the few bad parts, its great for you that the "majority" was better!
I think your water goals are AWESOME! Way to go on setting those goals, & making a plan for yourself to achieve them! Water can be a huge challenge for many. Something so simple as getting water in, can surely take making a good plan to meet those requirements for yourself! Great job! And keep up the great work!
Congrats to you on your 3 months here at 7cups!! YAY!! 🎉🎈
And so sorry to hear that you were feeling "empty".. I know that must've been difficult and challenging for you. And its ok to "not be ok" sometimes. As long as we don't continue to stay there. Just know that we are here for you and to support you!
And please continue to keep us up to date on how your water goals are going for you! And thank you so much for checking in this week to let us know how you are doing!

🍁Hey Everyone, How has your week been for you? I've been okay this week. . . I have been lacking motivation on cleaning. However visiting my family for my dad's birthday yesterday went really well.
🌽This is the FIRST CHECK-IN for NOVEMBER!... What are you looking forwards to the MOST this month ahead?! Honestly, I'm not . . . I have health issues and in Dec have to get a procedure done, and I am nervous. I also get the booster shot of the vaccine and worried about side effects.
🍂What New Goals do you have, or would you like to set for yourself this month ahead?! What are you plans to work towards them?! Writing 25,000 words in 30 days, and get two projects on my computer.
🍗JUST FOR FUN: What Is Your MOST Favorite Part Of November?! I love Thanksgiving, and writing in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). . . 50,000 words in 30days, but my own goals are 25,000 words, I'm over 5,000 so far, and to get two of my projects on the computer.
🍁What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?! I feel like I am stuck and cannot move forward anywhre.
🌽What would "YOU" Like to talk about or share with us this week?! WE want to hear from YOU! Please send prayers and positive vibes I have to be put out for a procedure and I have been put under before. . . I am worried with my sleep apnea.
@Rebekahwriter13
Hey there Rebekah.. great to hear from you this week.... Its good to hear that you've been doing ok despite that you've been lacking motivation on getting cleaning done. And its great that you were able to visit with family and come together for your dad's birthday And that things went well!
Sorry to hear that you are still struggling with your health issues and concerns. And we wish you well on your procedure in December! Just know that we are here for you, and to support you any way that we can!
Its really great that you are continuing to work on your writing and your personal goals there. And continuing to keep and stay focused there. I think its good for you that you are able to have that in your life. And it can also be therapeutic and a small distraction from the other things that may be affecting your thoughts. We wish you well on continuing to meet those writing goals!
Sorry to heart that you are also feeling 'stuck' and unable to move forwards. That can be challenging and difficult. Perhaps this is another area where your "writing" can come into play and come in handy for you. Perhaps "journaling" those thoughts (if you already aren't) can help?!... Journaling the thoughts that are affecting you and what you feel stuck about, and then journal some good thoughts after about some small ways that you can work towards becoming "un-stuck" in those situations. Or small ways on how you might be able to "improve" those areas in your life in some ways? Just a thought. Again, just know that we are here to listen and support you.
We wish you well, and send many positive vibes your way through your upcoming procedure. I know many of us don't like to be put under. I myself feel the same way. So I can understand how challenging that must be for you to think about. But, another positive way to look at it, might be to think about things "AFTER" the procedure is over and the positive outcomes it can produce for you moving forwards?!
Please continue to keep us updated on everything and let us know how things go and how you are continuing to do! Thank you so much for checking in with us this week. And letting us know how you've been.
@PoliteOcean
🍁Hey Everyone, How has your week been for you?
My week has gone well over all. I have had a few set backs, but have found much to be thankful for in the challenges I have had.
🌽This is the FIRST CHECK-IN for NOVEMBER!... What are you looking forwards to the MOST this month ahead?!
What I am looking forward to most is a wonderful week of no school for my kids. Fun, food, and small family meals together.
🍂What New Goals do you have, or would you like to set for yourself this month ahead?! What are you plans to work towards them?!
My goal for this month ahead is to only make a small Thanksgiving meal. I usually have people say they will help me, but they do not and I wind up cooking a huge meal alone, and then the people that said thy would help complain about the meal quality. I want to relax just like everyone else and will only buy a small amount of ingredients for this year. I am not going to waste my time cooking for ungrateful people. I am turning this into fun for myself and enjoying the flavor I work with.
🍗JUST FOR FUN: What Is Your MOST Favorite Part Of November?!
My most favorite part of November is the cooking and the fire place lighting.
🍁What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?!
Maintaining my exercise routine and planning my week ahead have been both challenges and highlights for me this week. So many things have happened and I have been on my toes.
🌽What would "YOU" Like to talk about or share with us this week?! WE want to hear from YOU!
I would like to talk about what everyone plans on cooking or celebrating for this month.
@BeautifulSun298501
Hey there!... Thats great for you that overall your week went well for you despite a few setbacks...And its even better that through it all you found much to be thankful for!
That really is wonderful for you that you are looking forwards to having your kids home with you. I remember those days too when mine got to be off for the holidays or the summer. It was something that I really looked forwards to as well, and just simply being together! Enjoy!
I think its really awesome that you are planning to focus on what makes "YOU" happy and grateful this Thanksgiving. And that you are setting that goal for yourself to do what will work for you in the way of making a smaller meal, and just having and making fun with it all! Holidays for me are always the best times, but the less "stressors" that you have to deal with the better you are able to enjoy them!
Awesome job at being able to maintain your exercise routine and continuing to stay ahead on everything! Planning ahead, helps to ensure success in meeting your goals! Keep up the great work!
As far as cooking for Thanksgiving, (or any holiday).. My mom tends to do that part. (Thank goodness) as I confess that I am not the best cook. Although, every year I offer her an abundance of help with whatever is needed, but funny thing is, is that she never takes me up on it?!... I don't want her to be stressed in having her cook for all of us, but, I think she "gets in her groove", and that we might only end up getting in her way. lol... So maybe thats why she doesn't take the offer of additional help. But she surely always makes the best of the best Holiday meals with All the main dishes, and an abundance of Side dishes for us.~ ❤️
Enjoy your week ahead, and having your kids with you, and your Thanksgiving holiday! And thank you for sharing this week, and letting us know how things are going for you!
Thank you for this reply! You have a wonderful holiday, too!
