Humility
Humility is one of the critical elements when we engage in conversations with others who need support.
Often, humility is associated with "cultural humility" and competency. We must recognize that we need to keep learning about topics we are not familiar with. Essentially, we should adopt an open-minded attitude to continue enhancing ourselves.
I believe this can only be achieved when we are "not overly attached to a certain self-image." Only then can we be humble and remind ourselves of the importance of our ongoing learning journey.
How can we maintain humility? What are the best ways to remind ourselves of our current status and motivate ourselves to learn about things we do not know? I would love to hear your ideas.

Humility is such a core quality that I strive for everyday 🥰
Keeping oneself grounded.
Listening.
Learning.
Holding ourselves accountable.
Being open to feedback.
Treating people with kindness and compassion.
Never looking down on people.
We all have different strengths and talents but we are all equal as humans 💜🥰

Humility starts from the belief that we are equal... we are unique along with our journeys ...but still always equal... once you know that clearly it leads you to respect everyone's perspective and rights.
For me - this belief was reinforced through my experiences of being treated differently... and seeing the errors others were making, I knew this wasnt going to be my path. But again I wouldn't call themselves as lacking humility - we may all be understanding and expressing the idea in our own ways.
I agree about humility tied in to ones self image. When we try to take more things than what we truly need, an aspect to feed what I call as the 'inflated ego', life takes us through a journey so we can learn the lesson of humility... to stay within your means, to stay within your truth.
For me belief in god makes me truly connect to humility. The acceptance that nothing is truly 'ours'. Whatever power we have is god given. So yes better always stay grateful and humble... and never brag.
Humility alone isnt all we need though... I think compassion is so important as well...💛✨️

Humility is something we should all reflect on from time to time. I agree with you, Creamyyy, that we are all on the same level.
We could learn from other life forms. Ants seem to exhibit humility, working as an efficient team. Same with bees. I do not consider myself any greater than such life forms, just different, and it is our differences that make life truly exciting.
I think we've all seen what can happen when one places themselves above the other. It's not pretty! Life is collaborative, and when we learn the lesson of humility, it opens the door to compassion.

It opens the door to compassion, eloquently put 💜

This post was truly inspiring 💗. Thank you for sharing your comment on humility with the community.
I believe in order maintain humility, you should surround yourself with people who will call you out if you're being cocky (out of love). Additionally, we motivate ourselves to learn by learning about things we actually care about and love.
@listening4listening I think one way to maintain humility is to not make knowledge about status. I don’t brag about what I know or try to bring it up in every conversation. I don’t feel the need to prove anything to anyone. I try to use what I’ve learned to actually help people and be a useful part of whatever space I’m in, whether that’s school, my community, or just daily life.
To remind myself of where I stand, I stay around people who challenge me and bring different views. I don’t assume I know everything just because I know something. If I come across a topic I’m not familiar with, I ask or look into it without letting pride get in the way. Staying open is what keeps me moving forward. It’s not about being seen as humble. It’s about being someone who’s still learning and using what they know to make things better.
@listening4listening
i tell myself that it’s ok to say idk and learn smth new
@listening4listening hey there! Firstly I would like to appreciate your writing.
I feel humility compliments gratefulness. If one is being grateful of life, people and things they got in life it can makes them humble.😊
@listening4listening For me, to maintain my humility, I need to have empathy for myself. Because it's their perspective. And learning to have empathy for me.
I think the best way to maintain humility is to remind myself that there’s always more to learn. No matter how much I know, there’s always someone with a different perspective or experience I can learn from. I also try to check in with myself and notice if I’m getting too caught up in being “right.” When I shift into listening mode instead of defending myself, it helps me stay grounded and open-minded.
