1. Things I learned about myself: I am very open-minded, conscientious, extraverted, agreeable, and emotional.

2. My greatest strengths: I am very creative, with innovative ideas, very diligent, responsible, very organized, love social gatherings, very empathetic, considerate, and fair in dealing with stress. These qualities have helped me to improve my relationships with others.

@Hope

I scored high in all five OCEAN characteristics. At face value, that may seem like a mostly good thing, but it actually leads me to fall into unhealthy behaviors and experience negative side-effects such as burnout.

Like you, I almost always stay in familiar environments. Your response to being so open to new situations and getting out of your comfort zone is so refreshing and admirable! 🥰

✒️ What were the main things you learned about yourself?

I was surprised to see I scored almost perfectly in the middle for conscientiousness. Depending on the activity or situation, I feel I can swing wildly between being extremely organized and well-prepared to being a bit more disorganized or negligent.

✒️ What are your strengths as per the test and how can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?

My strengths are being highly compassionate, considerate, cooperative, a creative thinker, careful planner, and have a relaxed approach to obligations.

Being someone who is frequently turned to for support and guidance, my empathetic traits (compassion, consideration, cooperation) help me bring a natural, calming, comforting approach to helping others. I believe it helps me remain approachable and dependable.

Discussion 2

I learned I am in the 95th percentile of open-mindedness which was pretty interesting.

A strength I learned about on the test is extraversion (73rd), I am also a low scorer with negative emotionality (44th) meaning I am more calm, relaxed and secure than I expected. These can help me in my personal life by making me a stable presence for people going through rough times.

✒️ What were the main things you learned about yourself?

I am shocked that I am not as open-minded as I thought myself to be. However, to play devil's advocate, I do only tend to step outside of the box if made to so it does make sense slightly.

✒️ What are your strengths as per the test and how can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?

My strengths are:

  • Conscientiousness - reliable, well organised, value being responsible and efficient but allow for some spontaneity.
  • Agreeableness - cooperative and empathetic, but can assert my needs when necessary.

@Sealiously It’s really cool that you’re noticing where you can grow as that’s how we all improve. Your ability to stay organized and be empathetic will definitely help you manage both your goals and your connections with others.

@Hope

✒️ What were the main things you learned about yourself?

You enjoy exploring unique perspectives and pushing boundaries.

You are highly relaxed and spontaneous, tending to avoid rigid obligations.

You are extremely introspective and find deep satisfaction in solitary activities.

You are kind, considerate, and value maintaining harmonious relationships.

You may be highly sensitive to stress and prone to experiencing intense strong emotions.

Most of these I already knew but now I am sure that I have to get better care of myself when faced with stress. That I have to be in tune with myself when doing anything.

✒️ What are your strengths as per the test and how can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?

I do love testing boundaries and bringing new perspectives according to the test. I believe this will help me in my career and help me move forward while maintaining a good relationship with my coworker and being there for them. But also be mindful not to push myself beyond exhaustion.

@Hope

✒️ What were the main things you learned about yourself?

I’m someone who thrives on being organized and enjoys being around people. I’m usually good at staying calm under stress, but I’ve noticed that I can get a bit too focused on my own goals and sometimes struggle with working closely with others.

✒️ What are your strengths as per the test and how can the strengths you identified on both tests help you in your personal life?

Being organized helps me stay on top of things and be dependable. My social side makes it easy to connect with people, and staying calm helps me manage tough situations. However, my competitiveness pushes me to reach my goals, though I could work on being more patient and cooperative with others.
