We're familiar with all the goals many of us create and want to achieve. Looking at these big goals seem overwhelming and feel like how we will achieve it? Probably most of us know that we need to start small to make it large. But often we fail to address the needs of our goals and think like small steps won't help. They not bringing any good and need some big steps to achieve these goals at the earliest.

While all these thoughts are processing in our mind, it make us stressed, discouraged and distracted from the goals. Many of us agree on the importance of mental and emotional well being. We all understand and recognize its importance in our lives. But, here's the problem- even when we do plan to be stress free and happy, it's tough to come up with the concrete ways to achieve it. Improving mental and emotional health is much easier said than done. Just to decide that we will be stress free and keep it in control not going to bring up the change. We need these small steps to implement our decisions and have better well being. When you're healthy and happy, it contributes in achieving your goals effectively.

So, what simple and small steps could contribute to your well being?

i) Make time for yourself. If you're often find yourself busy with people and stuffs, it means you priortizing them over yourself and you need a small pause for yourself. It's nice to work to nurture relationships and have specialization in the activities you do. However, while doing all these, time for yourself also needed to be scheduled.

ii) Wear colors. Color influences how we feel. So how about having a colorful wardrobe and promote well being. :)

iii) Exercise. Even if you're not fond of it, then also try to do. It will make you feel good. Regular exercises can improve your mental health.

iv) Fall in love with music. Music reflects your emotions and they're healer. Carry your iPod and have some music while commuting or working boring work. :D You'll love the results

And so on!

Point is to embrace small activities in our lives and enjoy it. These small steps make us mindful towards ourselves and help us to be in present moment. Small steps matters! They bring results.

surprise, what small step you would like to take from today? Let's take it and get a step ahead in our journey of mindfulness practice.

Good morning lovelies <3 <3

Hey @ASilentObserver !

Thanks for that good article ! :)

I guess one step I'm gonna take today is to go biking in the forest, to recollect my thought and exercise a bit, followed by a good shower.

@ASilentObserver

I love this idea. One small step reflects my thoughts exactly and makes goals achievable. It is the main focus of my profile too.

One step at a time!

@cookeybear my hideaway was in the bathroom The handicapped area was big enough that I could do breathing and movement exercises to ground the energy. Qi Gong Shibashi 18 is the one I do on youtube.

Try and do something to help me calm down. Maybe find the pain behind all my anger.

@soulsings

Called my neurolist today and told her everything I told my pysc MD and she is so pissed at him right now. He should have given me something to control my mind since she only does migraines and the PCP didn't do anything. She is calling him today and MAKING him give me something. She said my other MD's need to work as a team not like they are now.

@ASilentObserver

Some good tips, thanks.

Definitely love the power of music to change feelings/outlooks.

----
On a side note:

Some of the paler colors are very hard to read - like pink and lime. Would it be possible to use slightly darker versions in the future, please? It was a bit of a struggle with the contrast and I found myself line drifting (dyslexia) and re-reading the sections over and over until I finally got through (I gave up on the lime actually).

Thanks

@diplomaticconfucious hi there yes I can see how those colors were fainter and more difficult. Maybe if they were boldened they would be easier.

@ASilentObserver Hello! This is an amazing post, Obs! :) I am slowly trying to exercise more often. Currently, I work out every other day, and so I did not have to work out today. However, I did a small workout today anyways. It helped me feel a bit better, but it was difficult to push myself to exercise today.

@SaimaK I know it is hard when I am feeling good to exercise. I try to practice first thing in the morning before I even can think of reasons not to do it LOL

@soulsings I was not able to do a whole proper workout before I became too awake, but I did some stretching, some jumping jacks, and jogged in place for a while. It did help pump me up and feel more awake. :)

@ASilentObserver

thanks for all the work you put into that post.

yesterday i made the morning very special too me, woke up much earlier than usual, enjoyed the coolness of the morning, had a long breakfast and went for a walk and just relaxed for some time - did nothing. The feeling was amazing (just that i of course got tired lateron from rising up early). I felt like having given a precious gift to myself. I will do that again in future.

Colours - i strongly agree, colours show how you feel at that time you are wearing them and they influence our mood.
