What would you like to improve?
@SoulfullyAButterfly
Hi Soulful! 😊❤️ Great forum post! Many thanks my friend!
For me, this thought provoking question could not have come at a better time for me! For me, I would like to improve on boundaries in a way. Or maybe it's simply walking away from things sooner when I know my boundaries have been ignored.
Over time, I set boundaries. I set the bar and then simply see some people limbo beneath it. I guess I'm someone that is very high on the agreeableness scale as well as conscientiousness. I have much patience for others who are not. I remain hopeful in these situations. But, I think too hopeful at times.
Over the last few years I've gotten a lot better at this. Over the last few weeks I have gotten better at it. As of today, I still know I have work to do in this area. But I have made some choices over the last few weeks and a hard choice today. But I did it. The problem is, that I still let it go on for far too long.
Always a work in progress I guess. *high fives* 😊 and *hugs* ❤️

I forgot this, but it's a big one for me as well! Lack of boundaries or the willingness to help others at the cost of my own well-being has only led to people taking advantage. I can very very much relate to this, thank you for sharing.
@ThadSterling
Hi ThadSterling! 😊❤️ Thank you for sharing with me! I send you big *hugs* ❤️ I couldn't agree with you more. People can make life difficult for givers like us and people like us can be taken advantage of when we try so hard even at the detriment to ourselves. I know how it is, if only we just try harder, maybe give a little bit more they might just come around, lol!
I guess I'm some what of an empath, but I'm a thinker as well as a feeler. The "thinker" in me see's what I am doing as what is called the "failed business syndrome". It's like when a business owner has a failing business, everything is going wrong, it's just not working. They neglect to see how and why it's not working but yet they simply sit back and keep "throwing more money" at it. On and on it goes, more money thrown at the business and ergo, more money thrown down the drain.
Sometimes feelings and relationships (any type of ship) can work on what I call an "emotional banking" system. It takes a lot more deposits to make up for one of those withdraws. But yet, you keep just "throwing" more love and more kindness at it at the detriment to ones own emotional bank account (and self). You end up going into the "red" and sometimes, its only then, when everything comes to a halt. I need to monitor myself more closely before I go into the "red" lol 😊❤️ I'm going to make it a point to listen to my instincts and walk away faster!
I send you the biggest *hugs* ❤️ ever my friend!

1 - my wake-up and bedtime routines, where I would like to form a habit of daily meditation and yoga, in addition to regular self-care, including a healthy breakfast and so forth. Whenever I start the day with mindfulness, the chores are easy and even enjoyable, and work stress is far more manageable.
2 - I would like to quit nicotine, which is very difficult for me
3 - I would like to be able to feel good about my accomplishments, which can be very hard for me.
