I think the lyrics have either two meanings :
1. You could learn and learn and still make mistakes and that’s okay, because you can always learn from mistakes.
2. You get taught or guided by a higher and supposedly more “knowledgeable” figure, but then they use what they take advantage of what you learned and use it against you.
these lyrics motivate me to continue working on something no matter how hard it is, no matter what others may do to put you down, you still continue doing your own thing so yeah
